They will not answer when I say hello, they just hang up.
Never leaves a message ,called 4 times in one day.
Caller said he was from IRS,speaking in a non-american accent saying I owed back taxes and was going to freeze all assets .I knew it was a scam so I told him I worked for the IRS and received a check from them each month HE HUNG UP!!
Got called just now, by this number. Was offered grant money and then threatened to be arrested! I answered the phone and he asked for my husband. When I asked who was calling, he replied "Frank" and refused to say the company he was calling on behalf.
A moron with a New Zealand accent on a recording that said something about calling this number within 40 minutes to avoid arrest by the IRS. I was laughing too hard to hear exactly what he said. I'm hoping he calls again and it's a live person so I can tell him what to shove up his arse sideways.
The IRS doesn't call people and they surely don't call to tip you off that they are coming for you.
The bloke must have an IQ no higher than 10.
I was told I owe Money from 2012 to handicap .I never received merchandise ,bill, or letters from the handicap organization. Now this Elaine said she will send papers and we will go to court..This is a scam.
I RECIEVE SEVERAL CALLS FROM SEVERAL DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS. THEY ARE TRYING TO SELL SOLAR. I NEVER GAVE ANYONE PERMISSION TO HAVE MY CELL PHONE NUMBER OR CALL ME.
You said I won a tablet when will I be getting it
Never answer this call. Call same time every day at 6 pm
calls frequently, no message left. when I try to *67 call back it says it is not accepting calls at this time. argh.
This is a scam!!
I am so sick and bloody tired of these stupid jerks calling me at LEAST twice every single day and never ever saying a word! n fact they hang up on me no matter which ring I pick up on!!! How do I stop them from harassing me????
We have gotten multiple calls per day for the last 3-4 days. Different people but same "company" saying they have approved a loan for $3000 which they claim I applied for but I haven't applied for any loans for a very long time. Callers have thick accents and a lot of background noise. I want these people to be put out of business and stop calling me.
Had two calls today from two different numbers stating IRS was filing a law suit. The calls were on my voicemail as I do not answer calls from unknown callers. Went to the IRS website to report this crime.
Robo dialed. Caller very difficult to understand. Heavy Indian accent. Noise in background. Did not state purpose of call. Told him I am on Do Not Call list and to remove my number. We'll see.........
Make this s**t stop!!!!
This guy with a heavy Indian accent called me claiming that his name was Steven Jones from the Michael Davis law firm. He said I needed a lawyer and that papers are filed against me in California court and that I had to pick them up by Thursday. He also said my job would be in danger and a bunch of other bogus c**p
SCAM-ALERT-Banner-2014(Eden, NC) – The Eden Police Department is issuing an alert for public awareness of a current scam concerning citizens of Eden, NC.
The Eden Police Department has received a report of automated phone calls to citizens in Eden stating that the City of Eden has purchased a Life Alert System for all seniors 59 and older and that the bill was completely paid for. The automated call asks you to dial an option if you are interested in the free system. Once you dial the option number, the recording states that more information is needed and requests that you enter the information before speaking with a representative.
This automated phone call should be considered a scam. The automated phone call is a common way for the criminal element and scam artist to gather, steal, and use your personal information. These automated calls are currently showing on caller ID as 919-249-6951. When attempting to call the phone number back, there is a recording stating that this is not a working number.
Please remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you receive a call concerning a Free Life Alert System, do not provide any personal information, simply hang up.
A voicemail was left. She said her name was DeeDee Smith with the IRS and that I have a tax issue to take care of. She stated if I don"t contact the office she would file a federal law suit. I am mot calling back. This is not the first phony call I have received. I know if the real IRS wanted to contact me,I would get a letter in the mail.
Said they are attorneys and if I received a summons regarding appearing in court to press 1. I pressed one and the phone disconnected. This is not the first time they have called.
Came home to find a pre-recorded message that stated IRS filing lawsuit against me & to contact 253-617-7285. Was praying it was a wrong number. came online & see this has been happening to other people & not real Thank God!!!
Calls but leaves no messages
This caller calims I have a recovery debt and they want me to call them. I get about 1 to 2 times a day, every other day. It is annoying.
Automated call that says its Diane from a carpet cleaner place and they want to clean one room and do the hardwood floors also. And because we listened to this call, they will throw in a hallway. Press 1 to schedule an appointment. I pressed one and asked them to remove us from the list and not to call us any longer. Person on the other end said something rude and hung up. I know these calls won't stop. Wish do not call list was just that a do not call list.
Trying to be irs.May they burn in h**l.
Picked up thinking it could have been someone I knew. No response. Called back and got a vm that stated the name Sheryl McCormick. Hope that helps any of you.

Almost same as above, but "James Campbell" wasn't able to leave a full msg before the call was dropped. Thanks to you all for letting us know what it's all about!
As with many of those who had been called:
1. Indian accented.
2. Said he was a Windows technician.
Began to tell me I had serious issues, and my computer was transmitting code!! It was at that point I told him I do not have any sort of a computer, asked if I was sure I asked him what kind of question is that, and why would you call me he then hung up!
Foreign accent caller stating he is from Microsoft. I advised that I was not interested. Caller started yelling "listen to me, listen to me". I told him that I will not listen, he called me, and I want the calls to stop. I am registered on the Do Not Call List. I don't understand why I continue to get these calls.
They are harassing me with call and filling up my message box. It shows Front Desk on the caller name, it is a recording in Spanish. You get "box is full" if you call back to try and tell them to "STOP CALLING ME".
Enough of this c**p. How do I get them to stop calling & harassing me?
Called me today 07/02/2015.
Caller Id Information

Asked what company was calling and AI was told Hi_tech Auto Protection.
I asked what their phone number was and was told 888-510-1943
They are spoofing a phone number - Against FCC Rules for Telemarketers.
I will be filing a complaint with the FCC.
This is a total scam. "Michelle Lopez" called me today threatening legal action as a result of bank fraud I had committed on a payday loan from "Titan." All of this is bogus and I have never taken out a payday loan in my life. However, they did have my social sec number and also called my mom and my work line. They obviously have my information from somewhere. That is what scares me. This is a total scam though so protect yourself and don't give them any other information.
Messages to by a woman by the name of Tiffany Smith, very rude in nature on voice mail. I'm not the person she left the rude message for and information was states that if the person she is trying to reach doesn't call back that they would be giving up all rights. I have saved this message and will be giving it to KGUN 9 on your side investigating reporters to investigate.
Called me 8 times today with the automated tax call
Got a call from this number, didn't recognize it so I didn't answer.
I got an automated message from this number saying its the IRS and I have to go to court for tax fraud. Can't be real I hope these people get caught
Isn't there some way to get rid of these people?! They are relentless!
Regarding lowering interest rate on credit card, pressed 1 to talk to an operator, waited about a minute and no one answered. I only wanted to know how they got my number, it is unlisted. This is a scam to get your info.
Asking me to verify my recent google business listing, which I do not have.
Not reliable number to respond
this number has called me 6 times today - no voicemail, no one there when i answer. i'm very frustrated.
Caller is ignoring the fact that my number is registered with the do not call registry. Calls leaves no message and pretend to be a cell phone number.
Sure looks like this is not a viable adventure.

THEY CALLED ON 4/4 @11:41AM,4/27 @4:04PM AND AGAIN ON 6/2 @4:53PM
Called but since I didn't answer they left no message. Just another unwanted junk call in the end.
He is impersonating a police officer and I have filed a report at my police department.
Same person called me, they had my parents home address and some other personal information. I informed him that I was a deputy and that I know that it was a fraud scam and he still threatned to take me to court. Tried getting more information from his end but was unsuccessful. Said he was an Anthony Johnson.
Seems to be automated as "Tim" from customer service (but not with who) will ask if you can hear them okay and there is a pause if you say yes. Then goes straight into its spiel and to my ear there is no inflection, nor is there a pause for breath in their voice, sounds pleasant but its pitch is too perfect. It stays flat. Said I won a resort stay in florida since i stayed recently at one of their hotels. Seems someone from holiday inn maybe sold my contact info as i was at one 5 months ago?
Scam......trying to rent out row houses in Pittsburgh, Pa. Saying he is living in Sunnydale, California with his family...wants person to take care of his house while he is working there. Beware
Left message nearly exactly like the other people listed here, but when I called back they didn't try to get any information from me at all. They confirmed that it was me they were looking for after getting confused with someone else they were looking for. I confirmed that I was who I was (no info given just verbally said I was the John Doe they left a message for) and they hung up.
I am hoping they didn't get info to confirm that I lived here so they could go ahead with some other form of scam at a later date.
Claim that I will receive $7000 dollars. Don't know how these people got my number, but notice that they have called my phone numerous times in 2 weeks. When you try to call the number back you get a busy signal. They are scammers and I don't want them calling my phone anymore. Fraudulent and Scammers. Been scammed before not again!!!!
THEY CALLED AND HUNGUP THEN CALLED BACK.
Scammer scammer scammer
They really should watch who they call... one never knows who works for what agency or where-
Their real information is as follows:
4001 Western Parkway
Cary, North Carolina 27513
Take note that this line is a Voice Over Internet Protocol number - so that is why Salt Lake City keeps coming up.
Also please note that if you are really being summoned a Constable will show up and in some states will have you sign the summons. In all other cases, the presiding Judge will issue a bench warrant and will get you that way...I hope they show up where I work. I got a surprise for them...
Received a text stating that they had seen my resume on the Texas Workforce Solutions website and believed I was perfect for the job offered. They state that they're going to send me a check for the equipment I needed and when I receive this check that I needed to deposit it through atm. Through a teller then wire the cash to the merchant but they deal with for the software computer
Received an unsolicited call on my cell, just after arriving home from the office. Since I am now officially on a 4th of July, holiday break, I decided to answer the "Unknown Number" call; something I rarely ever do.
Like so many others on this site, the foreign-sounding, man on the phone launched into his obvious script, telling me that he is calling from Washington, DC and is calling from the "Federal Grant Department". According to this scammer, I had been specifically selected to receive a $9,200 grant that "does not have to be paid back and can be spent on anything I want, except for something illegal (like calling complete strangers and attempting to get their banking information?" I thought).
I was given an authorization #, along with a phone # with which I was to place a return call (I wonder why he could not have arranged to send the money himself?).
This person was absolutely CLUELESS as to who he was speaking to, but obviously did not want to admit that (probably because it would have revealed him to be the fraud he was). Don't get me wrong- $9,200 is a nice chunk of change, but for me and my family, it represents a nice evening on the town. I have blocked this number and will invest no more time speaking to those kinds of people. This gentleman must have thought that I was only born yesterday, or that, even worse, that I usually vote for DEMOCRATS. Why? Because only the most uninformed and low-information voters among us would have elected our current President twice, and it is those kinds of people that would fall for scams like this one (sorry, but I'm rich, and really don't care about what people think of me)!
This is obviously a scam. Don't call the number they give you, block the number they are calling from, and just walk away. Otherwise, they might talk you into giving up sensitive information and REALLY scam you!
Happy investing, everyone, and have a wonderful 4th of July!
what I find interesting is that many years ago, I worked for international telcom's "kallback" call reorigination service. the owner is a real piece of work.
Wont give out info. Just say they are calling a specific person to collect.
the same thing has happened to me as well I definitely think we need to report these ppl/scammers so it can be stopped. they are pissing me off and Id love to stop them or take action with the police. like get a f ing life. go make ur own money and leave us alone!!!!!!
THEY CALLED AGAIN ABOUT 6 HOURS LATER.
THEY CALLED 6 TIMES ON 06/01/2013
I got a voice mail message about seeing me in the court house
Calls and will not leave a message
I keep receiving calls from this number. I do not pick up and I always get a voicemail notification. When I check the voicemail, it's just 2 seconds of dead air. REALLY ANNOYING. STOP CALLING.
Get average 6 calls per day. Sucks. I plan on getting rid of my land line # and go VOIP, non-PC Magic Jack, or similar. a*****e Telemarketers ought be thrown into a hole and covered up with manure.
Called to lower my interest rate. Had all my personal info and then my card number. Had my account balance and then when they got what they wanted wanted me to pay 499 to lower interest rate and wanted my checking account and bank info. I refused called Capital one and reported and then reissued a new card. They then just called again and told me my card was still valid and offered my interest rate at 0 down and i hung up . They called back 3 straight times and would not stop. I am going to go back to the cc co fraud dept . These people are scaring me.
THEY CALL REPEATEDLY ALL DAY LONG, WE HAVE HIT #9 TO BE REMOVED, IT NEVER DOES.
This number has called my house four times today. Calling back gets you nowhere. This is harassment.
