Don't answer this number but they call weekly along with many other weird numbers. Reports of some type of Medicare back brace c**p. Be alert people.
Man who identified himself as being "Jason O'Connor" from the IRS Tax Fraud Division said a Tax Fraud case had been filed against us. We were told to call his number or a "local sheriff's deputy" would arrest us. Needless to say, it was clear that Mr. O'Connor is a scammer. The IRS does not telephone taxpayers about tax fraud or threaten them with arrest by local officers of the law.
I think this is a call from boiler rooms operation and the phone number shown in the caller ID is bogus
This # continues to call my cell phone. Does not leave message. Hangs up when I answer.
I think this is a bogus telephone number.
These scumbags call everyday beginning in between 915a.m. and 945a.m. and call back exactly every 3 hrs give or take 1-2 min. They call 4 times a day so they called at 944 a.m. today, next call will be between 12:44-12:46 p.m. then again at 3:44-3:46 and lastly at 6:44-6:46p.m. It hasn't gone past 4 times yet but this is everyday except weekends, like clockwork!! The call times are exactly 3 hrs apart so it's obviously on some type of call timer. I called back blocking my # and it was a recording for AGH or AHG sales or something regarding some cheaper health insurance BS. I refuse to answer. Just warning anybody, if you see this number on your ID, get ready to see it all day long. Good luck with these Jagoffs. Oh btw, the number is coming from eastern PA, the Doylestown/Levittown area. I'm over in Pittsburgh Western Pa so idk it has to be some type of scam..Good luck
I think this company is trying to take advantage of the elderly by telling them that a family member or doctor ordered the medical alert system.
I think this call is from the companies running a free vacation scam.
They call and leave no voicemail. I tried to call back and it rings and no one answers. Have received a couple calls from this number. They called after 7pm PT.
This number contacted me inquiring about a Craigslist item offering to pay $30 over price and wanting me to send my name and address so they could send money order claiming they didn't have cash... You need cash to get a money order!!
I think this business is associated with a company called Zazam that wants to sell credit protection.
I think they're phishing for information.
Was called by this number but I didn't answer and there was no voicemail left. When I called it back, it said the number was disconnected. I would believe all the other reports about this number being a credit scammer.
Calls weekly but never leaves a message.
Will call me multiple times a day. When I answer they hang up. I call back and I am put on hold with weird hold music. Then a man answers and simply says "Tony Meyer."
This person has called every day and has contacted acquaintances that I don't speak to non-stop!
Texted me about an item listed on CL.
Same story as above - mail me a MO, pick up after. Told them no, blocked the number.
I received a call from this guy claiming he was with the VFW, I immediately told him I was sorry but I couldn't help at this time and hung up. Then , this guy calls me right back and was very rude and told me he was sorry that he bothered me in a condescending way. I freaking hate telemarketers!!!
I get a call from Taylor,TX almost every day.
No message. Just annoying music.
Have no idea what this is or why they have my number.
I think they might be a scam.
They called and didn't answer after I said hello twice. They hung up.
I think they figured out that you're are not enforcing it.
I think they change the numbers from time to time.
Since 05/28, I've received several calls from this 'lady' asking me why I called her. She had an accent and I didn't understand some of what she said. I didn't initiate contact and had been asleep when I was awakened by her call and the subsequent voicemail she left inquiring as to why I called her. I sent her a text in response to her voicemail explaining that I have no idea how I could have called her- I don't know her or anyone in NY. She then called me again this morning at 8:00 CST. "Why are you calling (347) 482-3381? I asked why she was calling my number at such an early hour. Then I told her to have a nice day.
same here-if you answer there is no one there or the phone clicks
Same thing. Called my cell phone. Male caller with Indian accent claims to be calling from the IT department of ? Secure in Austin TX. Very bad connection from India. Wants to walk me through a few simple steps on my computer. I asked him what my name was, and he said Mrs. ABC, ABC being my husband's first name. I told him it was a scam and that I wasn't doing it and thought the police should be informed, and he hung up.
I didn't answer the phone, but saw a missed call and returned the call to someone claiming to be from the IRS. She asked my name and as soon as I told her that she should know my name if she was actually from the government, she hung up.
I think they are selling life insurance
This is a repeat offender... they never leave a message but they pop up on my caller ID, I have filed a complaint numerous times with the national do not call list.. We are on that registry..We will try what Thelma did call 866-246-7196.. hopes it works..
I think these calls are robo calls.
I called the number back from another phone. It is an automated message saying I "Visited" one of their affiliate sites and won a $100 gift card. The way you can tell its a scam is that they ask you to press 1 to redeem your prize or 2 to be taken off their do not call list.
I think the way he says it is free and he wants to send it to me at no cost to me.
I think the phone company is in on it as I am charged every time I try to determine the number that called by using *69.
I think it was Billy.
I think it is just annoying.
"I need some air, cause you just toook my breath away!, Text Back"
text message in middle of night
this number calls me EVERY morning ... says press 1 for english or something for spanish ... I have been hanging up for the last 6 months EVERY day, until today then I pressed 1 and they asked me to wait HAHAHAHAHA
I waited and a gentleman picked up and I could not understand him but I screamed TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST and stop calling this number EVERY DAY
he hung up on me, I"m sure they will call again. VERY ANNOYING
We got a call yesterday that we missed. They left a message saying that this was Belk Reward Credit Card Services from Synchrony. We do NOT have a current Belk's credit card, but we have had one in the past. They requested a call back at the number 1-800-347-1170. When I called this number back, the automated message said that they matched my phone number with my account, and then they asked for our card or account number. When I did not enter a number, they said they could not authenticate the account, so to list the last four digits of the social security number of the owner of this account. I listed mine, and they then asked for my entire social security number, WHICH I DID NOT GIVE. This automated message said that if the account is delinquent, then this is an attempt to collect funds. Then they transferred me to an agent, a female, whom I asked why they had called, that we don't have a Belk's card. She started saying that this number may have been called in error.
I told her to take us off her calling list, that they were listed online as being a scam/fraud/fake collection agency.
Is it a coincidence that on May 27 They texted a person named Lana and on May 28 they texted a different Lana (me) the exact same text message? I texted back informing them I was going to my local Sheriff's Dept and reporting them. Sorry but I call BS!!!!
U got a call that said I was approved for $1000 but could get up to $8000. After talking on this line where I could hardly hear, I was then told to go to CVS or Walmart with $300 insurance money to get my funds. I said I was not able to do that at the moment and the bank was closed. So they said call tomorrow after 10 a.m. and ask for Jack because Charles wasn't allowed to hold my file overnight. I then went to the website of Lendup and found nothing that states insurance money had to be paid. It sounds too good to be true. I'm glad I said no.
I got 8 different texts all one after the other till I told them to f**k off. then got one more.
Don't call me. .!!!!!!!..........I'll call you , oh wait, don't know you, don't need you. ....STOP CALLING !!!!!!
They claimed to be from Windows and my computer was infected with malware
Say that my computer is registered with them. Untrue.
I think it is illegal in California for creditors to constantly harass people day and night and day after day.
Don't this number unless I know you
I think it is a telemarketer.
This man sure poured out the things every woman loves to hear.
But in the end I called him out by doing my own GOOGLE on him.
And before he got too far with me, I told HIM what a piece of c**p he was.
Good riddens you piece of dirt.
Received numerous calls from this number about verifying my information before they shipped my diabetic supplies. I am NOT diabetic. I asked them to stop calling me and was hung up on. Received another call the other day at 8:34 AM where I told the woman that I was not diabetic and would report them if they called again and was hung up on again. Then again at 10:39 AM. I blocked that number, but received another call from 504-507-8285 at 1:37 PM. This time, the person on the other end said nothing. I blocked THAT number. At 3:08 PM, I received another call from 504-507-8382. This time, the woman asked for me, but never said anything else. I blocked THAT number. The next day I missed a call from 504-507-8383. I tried to call back to say a few choice words to somebody, but it goes straight to a "full" voicemail. I have also blocked that number, but I'm pretty sure they have 12,000 more that they can annoy me from.
This person said that they had a van for sale that they were selling through EBay. I'm just checking to see if they are legit or just a scammer. He also claims to be a staff sargent at a base in Ogden UT.

suspect fraud >bank / personal details
I have been receiving calls from this number saying they are from my broadband provider and have identified corrupt files on my computer which are affecting my internet connection. I had recently reported internet problems to my provider and they were in the process of dealing this so the call seemed believable. they asked to remote access my computer and took me through a variety of check on there then asked me to log on to my bank account details. At this point I became very suspicious and logged off. they became angry and told me I would need to pay £250 to protect my computer. I refused and they hung up. The are still ringing but now they say they are from windows!!!!!
Calls constantly all hours of day & night
Considering legal action as this is becoming harassment
This company keeps calling me but never leaves a message. I am pretty sure they are trying to sell me something.
I answer. The caller doesn't. Just silence. Calls me several times a week.
Man on dating site..used this number. Discussed Nigeria few texts,i knew he was fake. Couldnt speak English. Stating lives in Boston,Ma had to give me this number because other cell (didn't keep the number) was acting up he said.wants to know if i live alone. Sadly, I've heard the same story before and picked up on the scenario. Widower, child at school in Nigeria.builds roads in Hong Kong, nigeria. Cell phone thru Google. Keeps calling my cell even after i blocked him.Do not want woman believing. This story..it's a favorite for A lot of liars.
From reading other comments about other people receiving phone calls from this phone number, I have an idea of who is calling.
They're just annoying; they call at around the same time every evening but I've never actually seen the phone ringing at the same time as when they called, so I never could have answered even if i had wanted to. I want to make them stop calling me.
they call at least 5 times a day and i want it to stop, i am not going to answer it so why waste their time.
The number 515-779-1914 attempted to call me this evening a few minutes after midnight but failed niserably as I have very advanced security on my phone that has multiple layers of call blocking and filtering at the phone company, by hardware, in the operating system, and finally decent blocking app as last line of defense. Part of my security does a detailed background check on all incoming numbers and this one has extremely high reports of fraud and scamming abuse. I would recommend anyone out there recieving calls from this number tk not answwe tbe phone. If yku have blocking capability, it would be avised to block this number.
Same scam that I've gotten calls on for last couple yrs. on and off. (Even in news reports of late.) CID only shows number and "800 Service." A man with an obvious Indian accent saying he's XXXX (a common US American/Anglo name) and a Microsoft certified support person, saying my PC notified them of a problem. I hung up after this, as he was following the usual script and I was busy and didn't feel like playing games with him. They basically will have you go to logged error reports on PC and tell you these messages indicate a virus attack (which they are not!!). I'm Microsoft certified for real (though with NT), and these messages are for most part just informational. These scammers/fraudsters just want to con you into letting them have access to your computer so they can PLANT spyware or some other type of malware, and then offer to fix your machine for a fee.
Same number I reported on 5/8 (see above). This time no response to several "Hello's." A "Dead Air" call. Also contrary to Do Not Call rules. Assume was also the Burial Insurance telemarketers. Only shows phone # and location (Talent, OR) on caller ID.
I think I am being harassed for reporting them.
Same as above -- said he was from the US Treasury Department of Legal Affairs and was calling him about a legal action that had been started in our name. . The call was a bit broken up
I therefore don't know if it was a robocall.
A ladies' voice says, "This call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number." Then she repeats the number twice and finishes with "Thank you." The local TV news quickly exposed this scam this evening, the day after we received the call. Based on the comments on this web site, this particular scammer is obviously a professional amateur.
I then would call back but no answers nor is there a way to leave it a message.
these people call me 3 times in one hr time. I have this # blocked but they don't care they keep calling think I might pick up the phone, I also have my number on the no call list, but it don't help get these guys!! what is the use putting on no call list? somrone needs to get these guys!!!
Calls and asks if I'm home to come by and talk about solar.
