He wanted to "help me fix my windows 7 computer" When I told him I was an IT professional and knew the scam he was trying to play, he got very upset. I told him I was recording the phone call and planned to report his activities. The conversation ended there.
Wish I could do something to stop jerks like that from scamming unsuspecting people. I see it all the time in my line of work.

Received a call from this number claiming they are from "Computer World" deals with the in home computer (the system). The person that called was from another country and you could hardly understand what they were saying. The number they called does not have a computer. Because of this factor, I told them to take this number off of their calling list and I am going to report them.

Has called twice, 9/17 & 9/18 tells me he is with Microsoft Windows and my computer has been getting junk that will cause a virus. Told him there was nothing wrong with my computer therefore it did not need fixing. Hung up on him both times. He is not an American, sounds Asian. I am on the Do Not Call List, so why are these frauds calling my house?

From prior calls and posts, I'm sure this is the person claiming to be with "windows" calling about so-called "complaints about your computer sending errors, so many errors". Can we say BULL? Well, maybe they can't because they don't freakin speak English.

Called me at 4:45 AM telling me he was from some company in New York and that my computer is sending malward signals. Indian accent, hard to understand. I asked him if he knew what time it was, and he said no. I told him and then hung up on him. Registered on my caller ID as Name Not Found, but I answered it because I didn't check the number before I answered. Of course at that time of day, I was worried it was family emergency. Won't be making that mistake again.

been called everyday for several months. they try to get me to "fix" my computer viruses through them. They refuse to take me off list and are very rude and have threatened to put me on every call list they have since I will not cooperate with them. They are very rude and threatening. I have filed complaint with fcc and national do not call registry, and even notified att, but all to no avail. Don't know what else to do!

Received another call today from this number. Person with Asian accent says my computer is sending messages to them about problems. I asked the name of his company and he said "Windows Operating System" technical department. I asked if he was with Microsoft and he said no. I told him I was going to file a complaint with the government about his calling me and he hung up.

I'm getting calls from this number, hung up the first time and told them it was a scam. The second time, I told them it was a scam and they should get a real job like other normal adults. He said if it was a scam then I wouldn't be able to call them back. Surprise, you can't call them back, which I told him. I told him to quit calling and taking advantage of innocent people. Unfortunately my elderly stepfather got this same call and gave them his credit card number to buy a CD to 'fix" his computer. What a disgrace.

called my house and told my 8 year old daughter he was watching her through the window. Scared her pretty good. When i got on the phone, he sounded like a fake female with an indian accent. Talked very nasty and stayed on the line a long time. I would love for someone to come up with some good info on this person/people. Heard someone else in the background who sounded like they were calling people also.
Maybe i'll contact the indian embassy tomorrow.

Called the first time and told me there was something wrong with my windows software. Since I have 2 computers, I said which windows - he finally told me windows 7. I told him I didn't have windows 7 and hung up on him.

Called right back and I was rude at this point. He asked for me by name and I told him he just talked to me and I want my name and number removed from his call list and if he called back I would report him. he told me he couldn't do that. I told him he would. He said he would report me to the police - I told him to go ahead.

He was insistant that he couldn't remove my number - I hung up on the idiot again and was very rude about it. These people are in india using some list of names and trying to get people to give them information.

I don't usually answer these calls but for some reason I did this time.
They can't stop them, they will just change their number.

Asian voice hard to understand and told me he was calling about my windows operating system telling them that I was receiving error messages and I had a virus in my windows system. When I asked what company he was calling from (I knew it was a scam) he just said Microsoft and I told him I didn't have a virus and not to call me again and to remove my number and he continued to talk and I hung up on him. They call on an average of 3 times a day and I don't answer & they don't leave a message so this time I decided to answer it. They're a royal pain.

Received call today at 11am. Woman told me she worked for the "Software Maintenece Department" for Windows. When I asked if she was affiliated with Microsoft (publisher of Windows) she became defensive and replied she had told me her company name. When I requested that my name be removed from her list and I did not want further calls, she told me to "shut your mouth". I hung up and filed a complaint with the FCC.

Called me today for the 2nd time in 24 hours. Each time I got a different caller ID number. Both had the same story - they needed me to go to my computer and they wanted to walk me through something that needed to be fixed. Caller represented themselves as working for the "Microsoft HelpDesk". Realizing it was a scam, I told them the battery on my phone was dying and I needed their phone number so I could call them back from my other phone. They got very annoyed and hung up on me.

told me I have a virus on my HD and they're calling from Microsoft but you can hardly make out what they say because the accent is so strong of India or some other middle east country and I've told them I'm not interested and to stop calling but they call 3 or 4 times a day. Now when I see the number I ignore it & they never leave a message and continue to plague me.
