Texted me asking about a craigslist posting for an Item I am selling. He sent me 3 emails "posing as pay-pal" saying that funds posted in my account and for me to moneygram $400 to a moving company in Ohio so that the funds can be released. If that alone didn't tip me off to this fraud, his bad gramar in his so called "official pay pal" email put it over the top. I called paypal and they didn't send me any emails.
Texted me about my craigslist posting, claiming he wanted to purchase my guitar for his little brother for a starter present.
Knew it was a scam when the email used to send the paypal email was from secureroots and almost unreadable because of the amount of spelling errors.
To top it all off a follow up email from the fake 'paypal' was sent asking me NOT to call paypal to bother them.
Texted me about craigslist posting for bowflex machine, as a gift for their brother. Terrible grammar, said would send movers to pick it up and wanted to pay through paypal. My listing says cash only, I told them if they were really interested they could pick up the phone and call me and I only accept cash. Of course, never heard back. I guess some people fall for that line, but not me.
This douche tried to rip off my moms PayPal account when he text her about a bowflex she had listed on craigslist to bad the moron doesnt know how static I.P works I sent his ip and email to the cyber crimes division in central michagan. He is gonna get what's comming to him lol
The user "Danny Philip" sent me a text from 707-742-7533 which is listed as a land line in benecia, california. Stated he wanted to buy my piano for his brother using paypal only. Wanted me to assure him that he wouldn't be disappointed in the condition of the piano. I asked if I could speak to him by phone, since I had been scammed before. He did not call, just replied by text with his name.
