Ugh, after researching to stop these phone calls from 973-273-7822, I found out there are spoofed calls! The user hadn't used this phone number for months and the phone number was cancelled off their account. Therefore, the caller is illegally putting this phone number into the caller ID. Unfortunately, because of this there's nothing that can be done to track the caller.

Have received 6 calls from a company selling "security system", and they would put a sign in our yard so it could be installed for free. We already have a security system, which I told them. They have called 5 times since I told them. Seems they always call when we are on the treadmill exercising, or when we sit down to dinner. Really aggravating! How do we stop this. We are on the no call list. It is my understanding that if you do business with a company, and that company is affiliated with the company the the telemarketing company is representing it is ok for them to call you, even if you are on the nocall list in your state......sneaky and hard to understand, and it's total BS

I am in the process of calling First Alert. their phone number is 800-323-9005 this is First Alert Consumer Affairs, if all of us called them it may change. I just called First Alert and confronted with the calls. They said this company does not represent them.

The Do Not Call list and the FTC complaint process are the biggest jokes in the federal bureaucracy. They do diddly-squat. The DNC is totally useless and any complaint to the FTC generates a ton of federal paperwork (useless) which cost the taxpayers a ton of money. This imbeciles are supposed to solve the nations problems, but can't figure out how to stop this assault on the American people.

This company is offering a "free" security system - they call at all hours - this morning at 0915. I am on the Do Not Call list - nothing stops these people. The next time I will wait to get a person on the line and blow a whistle into the telephone. How do we turn them in - surely there is some government agency that can stop this.

These unsolicited calls used to infuriate me, but since I've retired and have a lot more free time, I've started playing their game. I answer them, then use several aliases, keeping them occupied as long as possible with no results for their efforts. They usually terminate the call in a 'not so friendly' manner, but I seldom hear from the same one again!! If everyone would try to waste as much of their time as possible without giving them any return for the time they invested in the call, eventually we'll drive them out of business.

We received the first call a few days after Frankenstorm hit New Jersey.
Having relatives near Newark, NJ, we became extremely worried.
We called the # 973-273-7822, only to hear a fast busy signal.
We called our carrier, Frontier Communications; explained our concern; they dug a little deeper.
The number belongs to a Comcast subscriber.
Comcast would not disclose any other information to me.
We continue to receive calls 2-3 times a week, around 10:30 AM, and 3:00 PM marked Newark NJ.
An "UNKNOWN CALLER" call also occurres on the same day, between that timeframe.

Caller name: numerous to unknown

I have received calls so many times from credit services with so many numbers i ended counting them at 15, and now i get them from medical alert life aid, womans name was Kayla her number was 877-841-5319, 3 times told her to stop calling and still keeps calling, reliable air duct cleaning unknown number recorded message and when i prompted to talk to someone i got a response that they will call me back and i left a message to stop calling me, now i get a call from 973-273-7822 newark NJ, i didnt even answer i gues from what their selling is secuity systems also, i also get the calls from the company selling security systems different than tis one for putting a sign in my front yarsd and would get a free security system.
Ive made so many complaints to the do not call registry i give up, and i not only made complaints to them but to the Fedral Trade Commision that runs the do not call list , about them and what the h**l is the use in being on this list and why cant they do anything, and no answer for the problem they say they are working on it.

I give up i just dont answer anymore unless i know who it is, or just unplug the phone for days and it seems to stop for a while but just starts up again, i beleive this do not call list does not work anymore and they cant do anything about it, and why these people keep calling thinking youre eventually going to buy something from them is harrassment, i would never do buisness with someone who did this. i see this site is a telemarketing scheme right here by answering a question to submit and answer for numerous company's.
