Called regarding my car and wanted details on miles, etc. I told him that I only use our dealership and he said that the dealerships authorize him to seek this information -- that they were in charge of seeking this info. I told him I wasn't going to give this info out and ended the call.

This number has been calling me so many times for the past week and I did not pick up. But today i decide to pick up the phone and ask who it was. This man was on the phone and he said to me "You are fake. Why do you have such a fake name?! You need to quit using your fake a*s name." I told him, "Who is this? Quit f*****g calling me!" He continue to tell me that my name is fake. It surprised me because he knew my address and my name. This is some really creepy s**t.

They have called before and asked to be taken off the list. Called car dealer to ask why they had my info. She said the state of mn sells vehicle licensing info to these companies. Irritating that they do this to companies who don't follow do not call lists.
Caller name: Vehicle Process Center
Call was received on an unpublished mobile phone number. Caller asked if I wanted to extend the warranty on my 2010 Ford Focus. I've never owned a Ford Focus of any vintage. Caller refused to identify the source the mobile phone number was obtained from. Caller proceeded to tell me that all my personal information was being deleted from the files. Initial caller deferred my to a "supervisor" when I insisted on talking to someone who would identify how they got my telephone number. "Supervisor" would not give me the information either and would not transfer me to another level of management and hung up. When I call (952) 232-589 the voice message tells me the office is closed and to call back during normal business hours stated as 7am to 4pm PST. My call was placed at 11am CST. Area code 952 is CST Zone. This is clearly a violation of personal privacy issue. In my state I believe this is illegal.

They call using a "local" number, they say they are from Calif. but a simple Corp Search shows no such company name. When you ask for their corporation headquarters info they state "I'm not allowed to give it to you" ... then they get mad and hang up when you challenge them!
This number has been calling me two to three times a day for almost three weeks now. They never leave a message and when I called the number back just now, I got a voice mail telling me the office was closed and it is the middle of a Thursday afternoon. I have read on line that it is a telemarketer trying to sell me extended warranties on cars. If I wanted to buy an extended warranty on my car, I would contact someone on my own. I would never buy anything from a telemarketer who calls repeatedly and never leaves a message.

Called and there was a pause.... most likely a voice activated machine that connected me to some fraud scheme clown.... lots of noise in the background. Said he was from some generic place like 'vehicle service department'... I asked from where... he indicated Ford Motor Company and asked if I had a certain make and year of car.... when I said yes he abruptly hung up... I tried calling the number since it is in the same area code and it is NOT in service. Some kind of scam.
