Recv'd call from this number, and after several seconds of no one talking, I hung up. Discovered, after Google Search, that number was reported as a Scammer attempting to gather personal banking/credit card data. Number blocked.

I received a call from this number this morning. The woman said she wanted to send me a new manual for my copier, but needed to know what the Printer ID Number was. I thought about it on the way to the printer and decided it might be a scam. So I asked her what company she was calling from. She said, "Global Distribution."

I said, "We don't really have a copier..."

However, before I could finish my sentence, "We have a 3 in 1 Printer," she yelled at me, "You're so F^&King dumb. You already told me you have a copier."

I hung up on her after that.

After more research, I've found out this is a common scam where they obtain your copier model and then send you low quality toner or ink unannounced and bill you a highly inflated price for it.

The caller was claiming to be from the US government and offering a government grant of $8,000. I had to receive this kind of offer before and knew that outcome. Once you go through with a verification of your information they give you a false verification number and a phone number to call back. But when you call back the verification phone number, it is disconnected!

What a f*****g a*****e! I got a real person on the line. The guy was asking for my boss by name, but my boss works at our headquarters, not my office. Convo goes like this:
Him: Is Jason in?
Me: no, Jason does not work out of this office.
Him: I understand that, but is he in the office.
Me: Sir, he doesn't not work out of this office so I do not know.

But before I even got to finish the b*****d hung up.
