Received a call from a "Kim Dauson" UNKNOWN # but left a number to call back (844)576-2533. She said she was calling to give me a courtesy call, as I will be served with documents because someone is suing me. Called the number and spoke with a "Shawn Noak" (surely these are not real names). Careful with these!

I received a call from Linda, whose number appeared on caller ID as 917-522-1822. I didn't get the name of the business she said she was calling from but she said she was giving me a courtesy call, as I was about to be served with some documents because someone is suing me.

She then gave me a phone number to call (844) 576-2533 along with a file number and suggested that I call that number to get more information about who is suing me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Web Link Solutions using this number. He wants to use a stupid script on me to sell me internet service. Could hardly speak English, couldn't even get my business name right. It is super annoying because he is just reading a script without even hearing me yelling at him to stop calling me.

Calls to say he is Mr. James, part of PCH and I have won 2nd place. I am required to go get a preloaded green spot card from the local Walmart or Target and he will call back to have delivery of the winnings but he is required by the IRS to collect 1% which is $250.00.

I did not get a card and when I pretended to not remember the name of the card he got belligerent with me. I hung up and he continued to call multiple times but the number was either unknown or private.

I finally answered and told him I knew this was a scam and to stop calling. The calls have stopped.

I never entered the PCH sweepstakes and too much of the call was fishy.

Scammers. It's an old scam but sometimes effective. Pretending to be supplier for your office machines, you say ok send toner, etc. Then you get a huge bill from them which will then get you into hot water with the company your work for. Female with either a Middle Eastern or Eastern European accent cold calling wanting the photo copier model number, imploying that they have a contract to supply us with tonor. We have a department that handles all purchases made by this institution. I told her - we don't use outside vendors but nice try.
