These idiots continue to call me from different numbers across the USA at least 2-3 times a week despite the fact that I am on the DNC list and have been for several years. I have also tried to opt out of the system by using their "management" system. this is is obviously a scam because it soes not work. These guys have already been sued once and told to cease and desist. I say it's time for a class action lawsuit.

Calls come frequently from this number even though I let each one go to the answering machine. I am on a Do Not Call list which they ignore.

These creeps called me, too, just now. I've even called them back once before weeks ago (automated response, too...typical...) and demanded that they take our number off their calling list, else I'd turn them in to the FTC. Apparently, they're no longer phased by such threats. Gutsy buggers.

I pressed 1 to tell them to stop calling even though I knew it wouldn't work because they've called dozens of times from different numbers. When I did so I was called a f****** b****.

Guess I know why the guy couldn't get a real job.

They just called (robo-call) here a few minutes ago. I had a telemarketer/scammer call in person yesterday from another number - I wonder if they stick you on the robo-call list if you tell them you are not interested in their services and remind them you are on a no-call list. I should not have to pay to "block" numbers - but I may have no choice as this is getting ridiculous.

Who are these horrible people making scam calls, I spoke to someone today but she didn't get far I asked for something mailed to me in writing to ensure what company I am speaking to on phone not wanting to give out personal information she went on and on how great they are and I kept asking HER questions she then hung up!

These people keep calling me also. They call from different numbers, so it's like trying to block jello. I've gotten them days in a row sometimes. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CREDIT CARD!!! I've pressed the "do not call" number, I've waiting for an agent and told THEM not to call, I've even called them back. When I did that, the guy answering hung up on me without hearing my plea. Can we get rid of them?

Get calls all the time to lower my CC rate. I don't carry a balance and also on a DNC list. Nothing helps....just keep a whistle by the phone and blow out their eardrums while they tell me their propaganda!!
This goes for ALL telemarketers

Been receiving calls from 914-594-9011 several times a week for many weeks. I push no buttons, just let the recording brun its length, sometimes repeating itself. It's ntheir time they're wasting: I'm retired: got lots of time.

What's interesting, I have no credit card balances, so no interest to lower. Too bad, because on the last 9 calls she said this was my final opportunity to take advamntage of the offer. - Sigh..

Nothing that you do will stop them from calling you. The major players behind this have made millions of dollars, which means that they are too big to fail.
One of the major players specializes in aiding the rich with tax evasion and shell corporations set up in Belize. You can bet that the well to do in this country are not getting lower your credit card interest rate calls and due to that fact our government just considers a few phone calls a minor annoyance.
The FCC has temporarily halted 5 of the minor non profitable boiler rooms. They will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since the major money is being made with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net
In their own words: Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet. The only way to stop this is to contact the FBI and ask why this crime family is allowed to operate and facilitate the ongoing criminal operations. This is one of the reasons that the RICO act was put in place, so why aren't they using it. Is this because this isn't a high profile, news worthy operation or is the FBI too understaffed and busy with Homeland Security issues. Maybe if we were rich they would take this seriously, but then if we were rich we would be using that criminal organizations services and protecting them instead of trying to shut them down.
There is a blog site that has information on one of these operations: http://telemarketerspam.wordpress.com

Some kind of scam, supposedly to reduce credit card 'debt' or rates, which is absurd, since I don't have any debt, nor do I use credit cards of any type! The calls just keep coming, even tho I am on the do not call list, which, in itself, is apparently useless nowadays! Is anyone EVER prosecuted for the continued harassment that these telemarketers/scammers impose on us? This is sickening, and a revolving door... I actually waited to talk to someone this time, and they promptly hung up when I asked them what the name of the company was that they were working for! Nice! I'll file a complaint with consumer protection, but I doubt they'll do anything...

There is apparently nothing else that can be done.
It would be very nice if some regulatory agency actually cared about the abuse these calls cause to people.

Recording doesn't specifically say who they are, but say it's my "last chance" to lower my interest rates to take advantance of the "Economic Stimulus." Appears to be a variation on the Card Services robocalls was getting from "Rachael." This was an identical recording to the one I got previously, originating from Florida.

From what I've heard on the news, I thought the FCC/FTC etc. had started taking action against them, but I guess not. They call from all over the country (or at least Caller ID indicates this) with different numbers so call blocking doesn't help.

Tonight, they called, I pressed '1' and asked them to send me a credit card with a $1,000,000 limit. The telemarketer then asked me several times if I was naked and had big b***s! Who are these people, and why can't they be stopped?????

We get these calls every day. Usually we hang up. A couple times I pushed one to ask to be taken off their phone list. Usually that results in getting hung up on and the calls continue. Today I tried again and the young male on the other end of the line became very rude and sarcastic with me. I ended up swearing and hanging up on him. Immature I know but I felt better.

For past two years have received repeated calls from this number. They ignore all requests. What is our recourse - start listing ideas, for example,l report them to the SEC? What would we do if VISA or MASTERCARD harrassed people like card services does? Maybe the attorney general's Office for the State of New York.
