Someone called from this number for my mom. I said she was not home and asked them to remove our number from the calling list, since we do not do business over the phone. With the cockiest and most obnoxious voice, the guy on the line said : :" Well how about you let her decide for herself? " I asked to speak to his supervisor to make a complaint against him, but he hang up on me!!! I called back and they said they don't have a record of the agent that contacted us. Thanks a lot CIBC for giving us reasons to switch banks.

CIBC phone customer service sucks! They called me to offer some extra services ( insurance on my credit card ) but they were so rude that I am actually considering bringing my business elsewhere. I hope someone from CIBC reads this and makes note

Its an auto dialer. I put it in my contacts then put a ring tone of silent so it doesnt bother me.
Its trying to get you to put death insurance on your CIBC account. Not a scam but very annoying. Best to answer and tell them to stop calling and take your name off the list.

I have been receiving calls from this number over the past 3-6 months without anyone leaving a message. They finally got someone on Feb 18th 2012, 10:50am claiming to be CIBC respresentative for my credit card. The woman proceeded to say the infamous line "this call will be recorded for security reasons and we would like to verify some information before we continue". I said okay, but once I said that, she didn't ask me any security questions (which a real CIBC rep would), and proceeded to sell me insurance. I completely interrupted her and asked specifically what kind of insurance was she talking about, for my credit card, life insurance or what. She went on to say it was insurance for my credit card and that there are benefits to having it for $0.89/day charge to cover for if I lose my job, etc. I quickly made note of this number, which I found it to be on my call display for approx the last 3 - 6 months. This is a scam, DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS, and if you really want insurance benefits on your credit card go directly into the bank or call them personally.

This group has my business number. They call three or four times a day. I am sending it to my representative, my senator and the FCC. This number had been calling my cell phone but after the last round with my senator they have stopped calling. Let your representatives know that these people are violating the do not call list and interrupting legitimate businesses!

I Googled and searched the CIBC Site and found no mention of this number. It is probably a scam. Beware !

I have had this number calling me on and off for years to offer some death insurance .
They have been told numerous times that I am not interested in what they have to offer .Take my number off your phone list ,
DO NOT CALL ME ANYMORE!

THEY DON'T LISTEN . !!!!
Pain in the royal a*s this company is !!!!!!
How many times do you have to be told NO before you will get it through your thick heads .

So the only option is to block the number .

One more and I'm taking my business away from this archaic institution to TD...

I have started getting a call from this number everyday.... doesn't leave a message, I don't pick up. I just keep googling it and seeing these comments. I don't trust companies that don't leave messages, just thought I would say I am getting the same thing.
