Two women, one officer second one supervisor. They intermediated my wife and wants to resolve the tax return issue by phone. They refused to send the notice by mail. At the end they promised to arrest us and send to the court.
They introduced themselves as a officer from IRS investigation unit.
I spend 4 hours and $6 for parking to visit the local IRS office.
They said that the IRS never calling you by phone and always sends a notice by mail. They will find you in any case, even if you have moved.
Police will bring and give you a notice.

Purported to be from the IRS, demanding cash payments, and generally harrassing my wife all day. Well, obviously it's a scam so I've started harrassing them. They finally told us to quit calling. Now i've set this phone number up and another one they called from to be hit with fax tones every few minutes.

Was actually at the local police station on speaker phone with a cop in the room with a couple of the yokels on the other end demanding payment. Local cops says this happens so often they don't even file a report on this anymore.

At a minimum... I'll annoy the h**l out of them until they dump this burner phone of theirs.

A-holes.

Caller name: Susan Davydov

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

A woman with a rather heavy accent called and said she is from the Federal Investigation Unit of IRS, Jacksonville, FL.

When asked her first and last name, she said her name is Susan Davydov and the phone call is tied up with the Homeland Security. She said that the case against me is about tax evasion, which is not true.

She is very impatient, confront and threaten to turn my case to the police department, as I am not interested in cooperating with her...

Caller name: James Wilson

Caller type: Unknown

I received a call stating that they were from the internal revenue service investigation unit and that I was defrauding taxation and going to be arrested by the end of the day.
I asked for his address and ID information:

Stated that their address was 400 West Bay Street
Jacksonville, FL 32202

Very confrontational.

Sounds from researching the number it is a scam.

Yep, scam! Just got off the phone with her, she said she was from the IRS and I owed them $8000:) Then she transferred me to her "superior" (who, weirdly enough, had the same Indian accent as the first person I talked to) who said that there is a way to get my "case solved" if I came up with the whole amount in the next 30 to 60 minutes :))

Beware of this fraud: She has an accent and said she is from the Federal Investigation Unit of IRS. When asked her first and last name, she impatiently hung up. This is a fraud.
