I got many calls from this number, probably 4-5 times they called. They left a message once that I own a medical bill and gave some account number but they do not have my correct address, they said. Great!! I have NOT done any radiology images for number of years, and my insurance company for all years are paid regularly anything what they have to. It is obviously a scam calling. I put this number on my phone under "solicitors' and turned on "diverted calls" Now they can call how many times they want .... :-)

Radia is a company who's employees read / analyze radiological scans (X-rays, MRI's, etc.) for hospitals and doctors. These calls are coming from their billing office. They can be extremely difficult to make contact with. They have a reputation of calling, and wanting you to pay a bill, claiming your medical insurance denied the claim, and that you owe them directly. But most people report that they not only don't know who Radia is, but that they have never actually "seen" a bill from them, and yet Radia uses intimidating voices, and terminology, threatening collections if you do not pay immediately. It is also common practice for them to simply refer your bill straight to a collection agency, rather than send you a bill. I looked them up on the BBB website, and found that over the past year, there were 14 complaints filed... 12 of which were complaints about Radia's billing methods. When I contacted my medical insurance company, asking why they did not cover the scans I had, they told me that they had never been billed by Radia. So, when did some research on the interweb, I found tons(1) of people complaining about the very same issues. One trick I learned about their (888) 927-8023 phone number: To get through to a live person; when the robot prompts you for your birth date, enter an incorrect birth date, and do this twice.

I called the number 1-888-927-8023, 1-888-927-1736 hoping to talk to someone about a bill and there is know way to talk to a live human. Just because you are a billing company doesn't mean you can't talk about and bill that doesn't make sense. Until I talk to a human not a computer I refuse to pay this bill.

On 4/22 at 12:1 p.m. i got a recorded call from a company (woman's voice) identifying themselves as from RADA - my account number 1555222, and there is an overdue bill. she referred me to ezmedinfo.com/rada - or to call 888-927-8023

This robo call left a message on my cell phone voice mail. I wouldn't have been able to understand the company name, mever having heard of them, if it weren't for this site.
It's exactly as the 9-3-13 poster says. I've never seen a bill, my insurance claims they were never billed for the ultrasound I had during an E/R visit (which resulted in admission to the hospital.) Is this some kind of trend? I received a bill from the hospital about 6 weeks after surgery (with a single overnight,, amounting to a total of exactly 24 hours spent in their facility) for almost $70,000 with no explanation and no itemization of charges. The surgeon sent a separate bill, as did the ambulance- what a racket this all is.
I received a call (voice mail) from this number. The message said my insurance company had denied my recent claim. They gave me the website: www.ezmedinfo.com/radia and an account number to reference when calling back. First thing I did was research the number on line and found all these comments. Thanks for this website to report things like this, as it appears that law enforcement are unable to deal with it effectively. Of course, I didn't call them back.
For the past 5-6 years I've been receiving "garbled - trying to speak English" phone calls at all hours from Jamaica with various different phone numbers regarding winning $$. Once they have you on a list they don't give up. I have reported numerous calls to the local police who tell me all I can do is change my phone number.
The FBI investigated numerous fake checks, letters and other communication I have received through the mail. I have never been notified that these issues have been resolved.
I received a 'robo' call from this number, and thought it was a scam. I have insurance, I've had recent imaging, so yes, I would expect to have my insurance process the claims first, and then receive and Explanation of Benefits showing what I owe, match that to the invoice and pay my bill promptly. I would never give this information back to a robo caller.
