Caller name: AOL Mail

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

They told me that someone from Russia was trying to log in my email. They wanted me to go to my computer to see if I had gotten their email explaining their concern. I told them I was not near my computer and would need to call them back. They said that they would need to shut down my email service until we got this fixed. I told them to go ahead and I would call them back. They hung up on me.

Caller name: Justin

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

"Justin" called me yesterday and today. After I told them to stop calling me, I disconnected the call, and my line kept ringing. I didn't bother to listen to the company ID. Very pushy. The next time they call, I think I'll print up a list I drew up of scam phone callers and give it to my local police station.

That's an idea for new victims of scam phone calls. Make a list of the nuisance/unknown phone numbers you see on your home/cell phone and enter it into a Word or OneNote page, or even handwrite it, if you're in a hurry. Google them to get an idea of who they are, and maybe give a copy to your local police. 9 times out of 10, they'll be scammers.

In response to:

rings twice then stops has done this several times 01792211847

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

After demanding money and telling me he knew where i lived and he was going to hurt me he then called 43 times in a row for about an hour straight. i picked up the last one and he told me i have one last chance to send him money or he is going to kill me. Blocked him and called it a day. Please people don't let things like this scare you. 100% sure its some guy who speaks poor English sitting in a basement scamming people to pay for his drug habit. before you ever send money over the phone make sure to do research and contact whom ever is involved.

Caller name: John

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

Called and said my name. Told me he was 'John' and I thought he said something about Apple, then said he was calling about Google and this was my verification call and to call him back. Two seconds later he called again. I could hear voices behind him in accented language, he then said Hello" then hung up. I've blocked this number. My mother got this call in February and he told her she had a virus on her computer. She gave her credit card number then realized she waa wrong and hung up. He kept calling her back. She has Alzheimer's and she no longer has access to any card or checks. These people are deplorable!

I have been being harassed for months by these scammers. They are NOT Dell Support as they say, call multiple times a day, are very nasty if you give them any static. I asked to be removed from the call list and the person I had said "Get in front of your computer". h**l No! I've just given up and don't answer 99.99 % of the time but I thought I'd give it one last shot today at trying to get off the list. Isn't there anything anybody can do about this?

This call came in today and they stated that they was from System Mechanic but we did not believe them. They stated that we needed to fix our computers because of a virus. My husband told him that he thought they was scammers and the guy stated that if we thought they was scammers then beware as they was coming to our house and end our life and said by the time they was done no one would know about it and all of our computers would be left without any info and that they was going to scam us right now by sending out a terrible virus to our computers. Please can't someone do something about this? Please beware as I am frightened to go anywhere now. Good thing we have something big to protect us with!

Fraudulent computer repair company, Premium Technical Support. Scammed my dad out $2800. Called and said hackers were trying to get into his computer. They pressured him to pay $12k to stop it. Even cursed at him when he won't comply. When I called to get basic business info, they hung up on me and won't answer this number again.
