Society now hides behind privacy for amusement, and illicit gains. Niche businesses breed on providing robo-calls and lookups to reveal pieces of information about the originators. These unsolicited communicades cause unwanted interruptions that cost time and in some cases money, leaving little trace info. Open transparency would be the best defense against phone / email SPAM, crime, fraud, wage favoritism. Lawmakers should require open directories to allow lookup of the originating account, and charge back to that account for unwanted communications from similarly identifiable recipients. IRS should also open return records so wages and taxes paid are open to all promoting equal pay for equal work, and allowing easy validation of any tax cheats out there. Visibility negates deception.
