Caller name: John Spencer with arbitration resolution

I got a call on 02/24/2014 from automated voice stating his name was john spencer at. Message says they are "arbitration resolution" about legal action being filed in my County if issue not resolved within 48 hours. They said to call back at 888 278-8565. But, the number that appeared on my caller id was 616-604-2567 and I spoke with a Jennifer Jones from "arbitration resolution and that I owed Cash USA money. I had already paid Cash USA in 2013. They are the third person that is supposedly calling saying cash usa is their client they are collecting on their behalf. I explained this the Jennifer Jones and she stated that they didn't have a fax number that I could fax the proof but I could email it scottmajors@arbitrationresolution.net. This is the third company that has contacted me claiming to collect money on Cash USA's behalf.

Called their local number 843 627-4287, the lady had my name without me saying it and she said she was Arbitration Resolution and I owed a dept. I told her to send me the name, SSN, birth date, address and signed copies with my signature of the original documentation to my home and she stated they will send someone to serve me with papers for court instead.

If they can't send copies of the original documentation then they have nothing but a name and number to call. Do not give any voluntary information until they provide proof.

I will let you know if they show up....

This guy and others like him have been calling for months. I ran a credit report (still have it with Equifax running monthly) and my score is still very good. with no debts, no open accts, no past dues. Scared . . . of course. I even hired a lawyer. One guy threatened to serve me papers. Incoming numbers include 415 and 507 area codes.

Scam by a caller with the name of John Spencer. These people think we are stupid to fall for their scam. They must be incompetent criminals. I wish they have the courage to face us and do it face to face.

I received a canned message stating there was arbitration pending against me and gave a case number. When calling 888-278-8565 back, the very rude person on the line stated an attorney holding the case had arbitration pending against me. When I was very informed about my credit report and outstanding items, since I just purchased a new home and know for sure there is nothing outstanding. I asked for his office name and asked for who I was speaking to and they did not provide the information. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!

Same "Arbitration Resolution" Fraud as everybody else has written about. Called from a local 801 exchange, and with the same 1-888-278-8565 call-back number with a 2014-xxxxxx case number. Today is President's Day, so the Attorney General for the State of Utah's office is closed, Tomorrow I'll call them. Somehow these people need to be stopped, and I'm sure there is a way to do it. A legitiment collector would also send a letter as proof of contact since a phone call is hard to prove and is easily deniable So if you call them, see if they will send out a letter but don't hand out your address. Legit's would already have that info.

Caller stated that it was relative to a legal matter and that I must respond within 48 hours to avoid litigation. When I called back and asked them the nature of the business, the person who responded said they needed the "number I was provided." When I said, you need to tell me first the nature of this business because this number was listed as "fraudulent," he became immediately combative. I do not intend to call back again and/or provide any information, so am glad this was out there.

Left VM on my cell - John Spencer, some Arbitration company, left phone number and case number, call back w/in 48 hours or they will go to court. I called back, rang like 20 times then went to a VM stating everyone was busy. I left my cell and case number, no other identification and asked for a call back. wish I hadn't bothered after I came here. These losers piss me off. Get a freaking job already.

I have gotten several calls from a john Spencer stating that I needed to call them back at this number 888-278-8565. That if I didn't resolve an issue within 48 hours, that they would take legal action with county I live in. I tried calling back but didn't get a answer. Caller I'd showed that the call was made from 859-721-0816.

There was a voice mail left on my business main line but not to anyone's attention. The message said it was about a collection and if i guess anyone ( hint hint) didn't comply within 48 hrs that legal action would be taken in my county. Called back a little while ago and the 888 2788565 and it goes directly to his voice mail (hint hint) no extension or company directory for that number. And not left to anyone's attention. Then I read all of these reviews. I say don't fall for it

First received a message on my cell phone from a John Spencer that if I did not respond in 48 hours that a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I decided to look further into the situation. Then message was left from a 786-358-518 number, but in the message he left a 888-278-2565 number. I tried calling yesterday did not get anyone. Called this morning and a Scott Major answered the phone no business name just hello, which made me a little suspicious. He asked me some questions I vaguely answered them after I explained that I am not working he then informs me that a warrant and subpoena will be filed, I said ok and hung up the phone. Then began to research as I used to file arbitration cases so I looked for his name as a registered arbitrator in the State of Florida to success. So I called back and asked Scott for a copy of the complaint that was filed with the arbitration court as a respondent I have a right to file an answer to the complaint. Scott became enraged and yelling telling me that I don't know what I am talking about and he didn't care about what was proper protocol or not and hung up the phone on me and now refuses to answer the phone.

Called and left a voicemail stating legal action would be pending against me if I did not return his call and resolve the litigation issue within 48 hours. Gave me the option to dial 9 or call back to 888-278-8565. When I did, some female wanded to argue that this was my last chance to settle on the $695 I owed for a Capital One Visa that I had never had! Or I could just pay half the amound and we would not go to court. WHen I tried to ask for some more information, she told me my current address, date of birth and SSN. SHe tried to give me a previous address, but had it wrong. When I questioned her on the previous address, she got really upset and told me she would not debate it. I tried to explain how I had been a victim of ID fraud in the past but she didn't want to hear it. I tried to get more info about the supposed credit card and she wouldn't provide any, only claiming she would see me in cournt and HANGING UP!!! When I tried to call back, they wouldn't answer. FUnny, if they want to make a settlement, you would think they would not let that phone sit on the hook! So I called teh number on my caller id - 317-219-4413 and got another guy who gave me a supposed Visa account number and said they would not debate anything with me but only sue me for the entire balance. Good luck! I will be happy to show up in court with all my legal documentation.

The message was not sent to any specific person, yet claims I've got an unresolved debt. As others have posted, the message goes on to say that I have only 48 hours to resolve. Well, I called the number & left them a message ... "By law, everyone is supposed to have a debt presented to them in written form. It must detail who is alleging the owed debt, the service rendered, date, amount, etc. If this is legit, then I expect to see it in written form for my attorney to examine!" No return call. No letter. I doubt I'll get either!

I have been getting calls from the same as above....a computer voice mail from a John Spencer with arbitration resolutions. So far 4 calls since February. 5 if I count the first from a Mr. Wallace, whom was extremely rude on the phone. They were calling from a local Utah number!! Said Bank of America was suing me. They wanted $3500.00 right then. I asked for a letter stating the facts of the case and they started yelling at me that I'd get a letter all right in the form of a summons from the sheriff and to have a great day at work and then they hung up on me. The second call I told them the credit card they were saying I owed money on had been paid off and cancelled 13 years ago, they asked me to email proof to a ScottMajors@arbitrationresolutions.net. I called Bank of America and they said it sounded like fraud and I was correct about my account. I'd like to know how these people are getting such information. Since the second call it's been the computer caller not a person. I don't answer that number any more, it goes straight to voicemail. How do you get the calls to stop completely?
