This is THE SAME SCAMMER that is affiliated with 503-495-3091. (They've inadvertently confirmed this with a nasty callback from the Oregon number in response to my contact on the 888 line). From many past contacts from 0966 I know every couple of months they change their claim of who they are and what they state is the problem when they call. Regardless of what the pitch is, the bottom line is either they are tech support wanting to "check-up" on my computer -or- they claim that hackers have broken in to my PC and they're calling to "fix it". Last month they claimed to be GOOGLE. This month they claim to be DELL SUPPORT. I played along for a while and listened to some BS in response to me not ever owning a Dell. Even after telling them that, the idiot still said I gave them my phone number when I registered my DELL PC for warranty. The story got more convoluted when they couldn't provide the last four of the serial # of the PC nor the broadband IP address from the system they claimed to be receiving "alerts" from. As an I.T. engineer, I've queried them about their claims and they can't address questions that they should know (or they make up BS to try to explain challenges.) They have little understanding of firewalls, non-routable (internal LAN IP addresses) nor a host of other things that they should know if they are who they claim to be. Sometimes, they just hang-up when they realize their plan to gain PC access isn't going to work. Today, I finally told the guy to "shove it" with some other appropriate comments and the same guy immediately called me back on the 503 area number to tell me what they thought about my playing-along with their scheme and wasting their time.

Caller name: Dell (Fake)

Caller type: Unknown

I screen all unknown calls with my answering machine and do not answer them. After 3 rings my machine picks up. This caller didn't want to talk to my answering machine and hung up. I am on the Do Not Call list. Research into this number stated people said the caller had an Indian accent, stated he was from Dell, and that they needed to download some updates. Definitely a scam caller.

They called me three times within an hour, saying that someone was trying to change my email address password, so I asked which server they worked for. They continued to ask if I could get into my email, and I told them I think that they're trying to get me to give them my private info, and then I was met with a very nasty "Shut up, shut up!" And then she hung up on me.

I have been getting calls from this same East Indian guy for the past 5 years.
Today I've received a Grand Total of '16' calls! All of which are Documented on my Caller ID.
I did speak to him twice and told him to REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR CALL LIST! They are supposed to honor your request!?
During our last call I told him, again, that I wasn't interested in what he had to say or wanted to do to my Computer, and not to call me ever again.
As I was about to hang up he said to me (Quote),
"I have your Address and know where you Live!" Then he hung up on me.
This guy gives me the Creeps!
I've reported him and this Phone Number many times to the Police, FCC an The National DO NOT CALL Registry, as have hundreds of other people.
I can't understand WHY he is still able to Call and Harass innocent people? For him to call me 16x within 35 minutes, AND attempt to Intimidate/Threaten me because I wouldn't play along nicely, should be a CRIMINAL OFFENSE and PUNISHABLE BY LAW!!! Which I've always thought it was.?.
Someone REALLY needs to do something about this PREDATOR!
Please be aware and carefully of him. And if he does call you, kindly tell him "No Thank You. Please remove me from your Call List. Goodbye." And immediately REPORT HIM to the FCC and any other Agencies that handle Fraud, Scams and Harassment via the Telephone, Voice Mail, SMS Text or Email.
Thanks and God Bless!

They called me at 7:30pm, I read the number, heard noise in the back ground, the girl said my name correctly and I told her to F### Off (I used those exact words too) and hung up. She called me right back and proceeded to tell me how rude I was and that she was from Google, what she failed to realize is that I despise Google, so this time I told her that Google can kiss my F###ing a$$. When she said Google I knew right then it was a scam, I really do hate Google and don't use any of their services. You have to be really rude and mean with these people, even scammers hate to be cussed out.

Called saying my they were with Yahoo and my security was only operating at 30%. Pushy, insistent. I told them I have HP Smart Friend (which I HIGHLY recommend) and they said HP couldn't help. Told them I would call HP anyway, thanks, and hung up. They called back immediately wanting to know why I hung up, and did i not care about the security on my computer. Very belligerent. Told them don't call again, hung up and called HP. SCAM

For 2 weeks I've been receiving calls from this # and did not answer until today. My cellphone shows this # is "Suspected Span." The lady had an Indian accent, stated she was from System Security and that someone was trying to change my password. When asked the name of her Company, her response was "HB." I told her to remove my number from her list and do not call again, then hung up the phone. She called me back immediately, Her tone had changed, she threathened to cancel my Internet Service if I didn't cooperate with her. My response, you don't have the authority to cancel my Internet, now do not call me again." I hung up.

This lady said she was from Yahoo support regarding my yahoo account & because I was having difficulty logging in to my account which is not true. I told her to remove me from her call list & do not call again. I hung up. She called right back & asked why I hung up. I told her I did because she was a solicitor & I want to be removed from her call list. She told me "watch your language" I was appalled & hung up again.

I have been getting calls from this number all week. I finally decided to answer and was told "someone is trying to hack into my account from overseas 36 minutes ago". I told her I would handle it and as I went to get off the phone she yelled at me saying "Ma'am, you can not do that on your own. We will help you. We just need to verify information." I then went to ask her if it was just happening 36 minutes ago like she stated, then why have I been receiving calls all week. She hung up. I called back and let them know that I would involve the police if they called again and they have yet to call back. BE CAREFUL!!

They are calling me repeatedly, over and over, saying they are with System Security and I am their customer. They will not explain to me how they are my customer. They have strong accents and are telling me sequences of key strokes I need to type in. Based on what I'm finding elsewhere, I think they will be trying to tell me how to let them connect to my computer.
