I received 2 calls in about a 3 hour time frame from 8774984746. First call they knew my name, city and wanted me (after I verified who I was) to verify my address. I asked what the call was about and they wouldn't tell me, I then asked what type of company they were and they still refused, until I verified some information. I requested a manager and she told me one wasn't available. The call lasted about 10 minutes with me trying to find out who was calling me and why, before i verify any personal information. I notified them that they contacted me on a business line and not to disturb me at work. I then redialed the number and tried to ask the same questions, they knew my name and location. They wanted me to verify my address. I managed to get the guy to say he was in India, but he wouldn't tell me anything else unless I verified information for him. They then called me back about 30 mins to an hour back. I told the guy that they had already called me that day. I once again verified who I was but refused to verify my address or anything else. I asked what type of company they were, he refused to answer, he said it was personal information. I asked what country he was calling from, he said that too was personal information. This company is a Scam outfit, They don't care about Federal Laws. They call multiple times in one day, even after making contact with you. Little by little they try to squeeze your personal information out of you without divulging what kind of company they are!!
Calls daily, multiple times a day at all hours, does not leave a message, dhows up on caller ID as number listed or as unknown, which will not be answered in this home by anyone. Persistent, inconsiderate. Will block the number and find a way to report else where. Encourage others to do the same!

I owe nobody. These people call me day and night anyway. My cellphone is not even listed in my name, so they don't even know who they're calling. If they ask you personal information, they are Phishing and if you tell them anything you will probably regret it. Professional Phishers use personal information for identify theft. If they pester you long enough and tell you you owe a small amount which you can pay by credit card, they will then have access to your credit card account. Their caller ID can tell what number is calling them and reverse number check will tell them who you are & your address under some circumstances, which might make them sound "official". They ain't. Don't fall for it. These are Indians or Pakis trying to steal your credit card identify until your bank account runs out.
The purpose of this phone call is to enter a time and day of week that the phone was answered by a person. If you don't answer, the robocall system will keep calling back until somebody picks up. You are then put on a list and the list is sold to other companies that do telemarketing calls. This is why nobody answers if you pick up. They don't want to talk to you. They just want to know when you are home. Very annoying.
This is so annoying. They say their info is private, well shouldn't mine be too? I wish they would stop. At first they called by a different number, although that could've been a different thing, but now they are calling using the 877 number...
I have been receiving calls from this number for months, 3-4 times a day about 8 am to about 8 pm. I have documented the calls on a list. No messages left when I do not answer. They are looking for a man & a woman, both with unusual names. I found those names within a couple of minutes living at the same address within about 100 miles of me in the same state. The woman has the same surname & the same first initial as I do & has attended school & worked in the city where I live. Allied could easily have found them. I have had the same phone number for more than 25 years, so Allied simply looked up someone listed in the phone directory in the place where the woman was known to have lived & picked my name, which is listed by my first initial & assumed that they had the correct person. I have told them this, but they are continuing to call, despite having promised me that they would stop the calls. I have not checked yet, but I assume that the debt now appears on my credit record. I have reported this to the state's attorney general.
I have been receiving 2 to 3 calls per day for the last 7 days from this number. I have a foreign language answer on my machine on purpose. Whoever this "caller" is, they refuse to leave a message (which tells me a lot)...but, they continue to keep calling. They usually begin at about 8:30am and continue until around 9pm.
This c**p should be illegal.
Always calls and when they verify my name they ask me to hold. It is always a male from India and I sat on hold once for 10 minutes before I just hung up. They call all the time and never say what it is for. I have received calls ranging from 7am to 9pm. I have been scammed over the phone before, never give out any information at all!!!
They call several times a day, and I finally answered today. They're looking for an old roommate who moved out over 10 years ago. If I tell them to stop calling and they persist, would I get in trouble if I blew an air horn into the phone?
