these people have called my mothers house 3 times today the last call was after 8pm she is elderly and very upset,please put an end to this ...in the caption mentioned above where it says callers name..my mother ic Carol Mitchell she is the one recieving the calls...the people making them wont leave a name..
These people call over and over and ask for an acount number which
we do not have. When I called to complain they asked for my SSI #.
No way!. I said "quit calling us!"They told me they would remove us from their list. We will see if it happens. Will put a block on their number with our service provider! LA
My Dad received the following official sounding call from 877-437-1987.
"It is very important that you call Citi regarding an important matter with your Home Depot account at 1-877-437-1987.
Any agent can assist you.
It is important that you respond to this message. You may also visit us online at myhomedepot.com."
My Dad does not have a credit card account and Home Depot Credit Card service agents have no knowledge of this phone number. Also my Dad's phone number is on the do not call list.
I suspect he purpose of the call is to get identity information which could be used to open fraudulent accounts.
If this is Home Depot, I called and talked to representative about the account and she said they would not call, but it has been NONSTOP. A computer glitch lead me to believe I paid the bill online and I explained that and made the payment after talking to the representative. STOP IT NOW OR I WILL CUT UP THE CARD!!!!!!!!!

I imagine they want the call-backs (control).

I don't have a home depot or citibank care and these people call me at least 6 times a day. Sometimes they make noises on the phone and say nothing. The last one that called was warned that I will pull the pin on this personal siren I have next time they called. They did, I set off the siren and they hung up quick.
Research reveals this number belongs to CitiCorp. This number calls business line 7, 8, 9 times a day starting at 7:30am through 9:00pm in the evening (note this includes hours business is closed). They've called so many times we have checked the main line caller ID. No voice mail messages are left and when calls are answered there is dead space on the other end of the line. Had staff call the number back and after waiting a long time to get past "enter your account number" prompts a person came on the line asking for a CitiCorp Home Depot Account number which this company does not have. They then began asking for specific individuals by name but of course personnel is not authorized to discuss. Asked the representative to remove this business number from the calling list.
