I filed for bankruptcy back on 2009, so when they talked to me about some outstanding balance I knew I they weren't going to get a single penny from me. So I decided to mess with their heads a little bit by pretending I couldn't hear what they were saying and asking them to speak louder . After shouting " WHAT ? SPEAK UP" "about ten times , they hang up. It was hilarious. Overall I rate this experience 9 out of 10.

the sure way to verify whether they actually are representing a law firm is to ask for their bar number, thats what a lawyer friend of mine told me. I'll ask them when they call back , which they proablby will- as they always do, and i'll keep you posted on

I missed a call from this number, when I called back it said they were calling from JJ Boudreau law firm and that debt collection is part of their activities and that any info provided to them will be used for that purpose . Their number is now blocked. Unless they got something for me in writting, they can get lost

They have been calling for some man that does not live here. I tried explaining them many times that there is no one by that name. Either they think I am lying, or they just wish to speak to anyone , but they keep calling back. At this point, I really don't know what to do to get them off my back. I said they have the wrong number, I asked to be taken off the list, yet the calls continue. What more do I have to do , for them to stop? Any suggestions???????

I called them back after missing multiple calls, the recorded message says something about a law firm collecting debt, their offices were closed when I phoned in. I am debt free since August 2010 , so I really don't understand what debt they would be referring to

They keep calling my fax line, I don't know why, and I don't care , because whoever is important - will call my land line. I wish I knew how to block their number from my fax, otherwise I'll keep deafening them with the fax transmission signal!

I have no outstanding debt and no accounts that went into collection, yet I get frequent calls from these imbeciles. I have asked to be taken off of the calling list but it only worked for a week. They called again today. I see I'm not the only one

I have no problem with people doing their job but you need to stay professional and not scream at people if you want us to take you seriously. And that is why I am exposing you today.

This person called my MIL about an outstanding Master Card bill from 2005, stating that the account was closed in 2010 but the past due needed to be paid. He had a portion of her SS# and an old address. She believes the card may have been owned by her deceased husband (he died several years before 2005 when the charge was allegedly made). This has all the makings of a scam.

After getting multiple calls from them I decided to call back to see what this was all about. When I called back , Mr. Foster told me he was an attorney and he is surprised I took so long to get back as this was an urgent matter. To make a long story short : they are just some silly debt collectors. Don't be fooled if they state otherwise.

We got called (atty boudreau) on our cell phone right after we got new Verizon cell service! All bills up to date, so I know this is a scam!
I am VERY familiar with consumer law and I also know these collectors call people about fake debt, be careful- Go online to your state's atty genl office and get your rights if you are in debt so you can be treated fairly. If you have Verizon cell service you can go on their website, log into your account billing and block this#. Also, call you cell svc, and complain about fraud calls.
