Diamond Wireless continues to remove 7.99 per month from my account for insurance on a phone we no longer have. How can I get this stopped?

I have called three times and asked them to cancel my protection plan. They keep saying it's done and then I got a text saying my payment was declined. Ummmm no you shouldn't be billing me. I'm pissed. Cancel it.

I also have received a message from this company saying my credit card was declined. I changed the cc number and that's why they called. This is a service I NEVER PURCHASED and they have been charging my old credit card for over a year! Now I have to let the credit card company know (I think they've heard this before), that I have been charged fraudulently for some time. I believe I had PREVIOUSLY changed my credit card, but indeed they found the new number again and started charging on it. Now I have to be sure that they do not get ahold of this newest number and start charging. WHY AREN'T THESE PEOPLE IN JAIL?????

Same as above. This number called me saying my cell phone insurance payment declined and I knew they were lying based on their method of communication. I googled the number and it is apparently a telemarketer of some sort or possibly a phisher. I wish these predators could be prosecuted.

This number texted me and said my insurance premium declined. I called the number and the person "looking into the billing" said my card declined. They said they had my card on file but the card number was not mine nor any previous card I have owned. I recently made a claim with the insurance so I KNOW they have my correct card on file. SCAMMERS!!!

Diamond Wireless is an Authorized Retailer for Verizon and they carry their own insurance. Direct Verizon goes through a third party company called Asurion. Before disregarding the message, you may want to do some research on where your device was purchased. If you choose to ignore the message like I did, you may break your phone and find yourself out of luck because the Insurance will get canceled if a payment is not made. I broke my phone and went into the location that I purchased it and it was a Diamond Wireless and I had purchased their protection. Unfortunately, I did not give the text a second thought.... I ended up purchasing a less expensive phone off ebay... :( Just thought I would share my experience in letting you know.. Diamond Wireless is legit.

I have been receiving texts from Diamond Wireless Protection for the last two days. Thank goodness for the other postings. Text message said card was declined for phone's insurance premium and to call 877-370-0610 to prevent the Diamond Wireless Protection from canceling. I am not calling or giving them ANY information.

Same .. Same as above...
Received a text... Stating my card declined due to verizon wireless phone insurance ... .. I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE WITH VERIZON .. Nor with this diamond company ...
(I do not keep cards on file) ...
Thankful for sites such as these...so I can quickly see what others have to say .. And see if I'm being scammed..

They sent me a text first saying my card had been declined. I called the number and talked to someone but then decided not to give them the credit card number over the phone.

This number called me saying my card declined when I paid my phone bill for verizon wireless and I knew they were lying considering they said I had insurance for my phone which I never purchased in the first place.

Same. They say "You're credit card was declined" (but they never had it to begin with).

I made the mistake of giving them my credit card thinking they really were with Verizon. Then they refused to cancel the recurring charge unless I gave them my Verizon PIN # .

I received a text stating my card was declined for Verizon wireless insurance. I dont have Diamond wireless insurance. They asked for a credit card number and for my verizon wireless password. That smelled fishy
I gave them nothing and called verizon. Verizon wireless has no record of me ever paying Diamond Wireless.

Scam!
