Caller name: Don't Know
Calls, asking for Janet Campbell.
(My first name is Campbell)
First time I told them there is no Janet and when I asked them why they were calling this number, hung up in a hurry.
Next times, I recognize the same voice and they pretty much scramble to hang up when I tell them to stop phoning.
Someone from that number called...did not leave message. I do not answer calls that are unfamiliar to me. Declined call. Didn't leave message. Looked them up...from AmSher Collections - guess they are trying to harrass me for my son's outstanding medical bills.
I have gotten calls from this number so many times per day. When I answered, the woman gave some name rather quickly and said she was from a collection agency and needed me to confirm my birthday before proceeding with the call. When I asked her to repeat her name she only said "the collection agency". I told her I know I have nothing in collections and what did she think I owed and she said I can't give you that info. I said I'm not telling you anything because this could be a scam. She says OK I'll just tell my manager we couldn't verify you. :-| this is not real. I've dealt with collections and that's not how the call went. A letter would have proceeded a phone call.
They are harassing me! Calling my sister's house saying she sounds like me! They are supposedly collecting for T-Moblie, but I was paying them directly! Also asked them to send me a bill and they refuse to! Want me to give them my credit card info over the phone, which I refuse to! I told them I was going to file a police report against them and they hung up on me!
Caller name: Someone from Accounts receiveable.
Called asking to speak to my Husband. When they asked if I knew who that was I told them I did it was my Husband they asked to speak to him. I told them what was the call regarding she then stated she could not tell my why she was calling that they needed to speak to him. I then asked her if she needed to speak to him why did she call me. She then stated in a super fast tone that she would make sure to put me as a incorrect number and then hung up. I kind of have sympathy for those who have no choice but to have such a crappy job. Oh well.
I called their number, 800-955-7632. Pressed 2, then 5.
I told the rep that their company calls several times a day. He asked for my number and asked if there was anyone named "Robert" attached with the number. I let him know that there was no Robert and the number had been mine for over 10 years. He said the number would be deleted from their records. We'll see if it happens.
They must be calling every number that was/is a T-mobile number saying that I owe money on my bill. It's a scam, I stopped using T-mobile 2 years ago and I know I do not owe anything. When I told the guy, well actually assertively told him that I do not owe T-Mobile a dime he said OK then you don't owe T-Mobile and hung up. That was yesterday, they've called twice today already.
This phone number call me every day at least three times a day. It sounds like a recording voice At first half of the time it just hangs up. When I called back to see who it was, the person on the other line got very rude with me. And then a man proceeded to get on the line and start laughing hysterically. They call me constantly, it's like they are harassing me. When I called back to see who it was they ask for my mother. I said this is not Sylvia Mitchell. And please do not call me. They don't want anybody attitude once again, and said we are going to block your number. I already called and filed a report against them. If this number cause your phone do not answer. I'm guessing there is a debt collection agency but they won't say what builder calling for.
Caller name: Amsher
Called me and wouldn't fully identify themselves, asked who I was and where I live. Leary of social engineering attempts would not give them that information until they fully identify themselves. They became very rude and snotty with me on the phone and then hung up. Called me back again and the same thing. Wouldn't fully clearly identify themselves or what the call was about and was very rude. After the 3rd call that was again very rude and snotty, I told them to stop calling me. I called the number back. Did not identify myself and told them my number only. Told them to very explicitly never call this number again.
I have since put a block on this number using iOS 7's block feature.
I only truly found out who this company is by googling their number and coming across this site. I do owe T-Mobile and would have met in the middle on the bill had Amsher's representatives been very clear and concise about the call in the first place. Now they can suck it.
