They keep calling my Grandmothers house phone. That she only uses for the internet. They keep calling, and she thinks something is wrong and that I must call the number back. Is this a scam? Or should I get in touch with the people?
This company called a friend that I haven't seen in 5 years and recently changed their phone number asking for me. There is nothing connecting us other than we talked on his new cell phone number for the first time in several years. When he called back he was told they were investigating me for fraud!!!! Ridiculous.
Caller name: Would not give name
Tried to call them to let them know I was not the person for whom they were looking. They hung up on me 3 time and the fourth time answered with a very sinister laugh.
Have received over 10 calls from them on my mobiles one. They leave a message for Justin Ledet, which is not me.
Get a call from this number at least once every day. It's always a recording with the name of someone I've never heard of. I'm getting extremely tired of ignoring these phone calls and then wasting my time having to delete voicemails.
Caller name: mary jones
These people are absolute frauds. I am currently 8 months pregnant, and they called my home phone saying that someone had filed a civil case against me in Hamilton county (the one I live in) and that if I didn't have my lawyer contact them immediately, further legal action would be taken. I didn't hear this until around 8pm when I returned from work, and figured a reputable law firm would be closed by then. Needless to say, I spent an entire sleepless night pacing, throwing up, and crying. All while worrying the stress was going to throw me into labor. My father was so worried about me that he looked up this number and we found out early the next morning that it was a freaking collection agency. This should be ILLEGAL. How can they get away with outright lying?? I'm calling the BBB as soon as their phone lines are open, and so should you guys. Thanks for listening.
Caller name: zellar and Associates
Whether or not zellar and Associates are legit their tactics are not!!! and just because you had a "NICE" experience with them does not mean they still did not scam you. They know exactly what to say and when to say it ....to sound "professional" enough to intimidate you!! I would say part scam and part legit who really knows??? there is too much questionable and shady acts going on. The best part is if you throw legal jargon back at them they do get defensive and quite nasty!! what does that tell you?? If they are on the up and up they should welcome the fact that you are not a sucker and are willing to pay for a legitimate debt without any kind of trickery or foolery attached!! And, whether you might think so or not it is your right to ask for a DEBT VALIDATION LETTER BEFORE YOU PAY IF THESE CLAIMS ARE TRUE!! and please DO NOT give out personal information until you can verify their claim and if they threaten you to be served with "papers' that is a BIG sign you might be getting ROYALLY!! scammed because they would already have that information!!!.......all I can is if you owe and you can prove your debt then pay up but if you know in your heart these claims are bogus and you...YOURSELF cannot trace the debt DON'T PAY!! DON'T BE SCAMMED!!
Caller name: Lexi Meyers for Laurence Smith
The caller says this is Lexi Meyers calling for Laurence Smith and I have to call back by then end of the month in reference to a civil matter or they will judge against me. When I get connected it sounds like a party in a call center and they don't know I'm on the line or I get disconnected or I get voicemail. I'm guessing that's because I block my number before I call them.
Caller name: Tracy
Like everyone else on this page I have also received several calls from "Zeller and Associates", they actually called my place of employment. I just called them back and an unnamed guy answered. I told him I received a call and was to call back. He asked for the number I was contacted at and gave him it and he said that isn't in his "system" that he now needed my last name and social security number. ABSOLUTELY NOT! So then he said he can't help me. I said ok I will await another call from Tracy and hung up the phone. They have also called my cell number but will not leave any kind of message.
Caller name: Ray @ Zeller & Associates
Called my Cell & left a message asking for a Dana person with my last name. No Dana at my # - Do they just call people at Random hoping to catch the person they want ? Un-ethical if you ask me. When I called back - the SAME person who left the message said there was no 'Ray' at the extension given: #316 - What a Bogus way to 0perate !! How 'bout we Start Calling them back Every Day for awhile & Bug them !?
Caller name: Zeller & Assoc
A male called to collect on an old debt but would not produce any documentation. He then made threats to F*#^ up and kill all of the b$&@$^# in my house and said he would send federal marshals to my house. These calls have been numerous!!! Obviously not legit!!! I'm calling BBB and Attorney General and maybe FBI. Not sure but federal marshals should stop them from using their name also. SCAM!!!!!!!
Caller name: no name, just phone number
calling re: my neighbor
(I was wondering why in the world they'd be leaving a message for me about her... I barely know her...). I called the #, heard "Zeller & Associates".... looked them up; glad I saw this page; it explains alot
Caller name: not given
Robo-caller keeps asking for someone not at my number. They leave a case number and return phone number: (877)225-9049.
A secondary caller uses what I beleieve is a fake caller ID but same phone number. He identifies himself as an investigator for the state regarding asset and liability investigation. Regardless, they are calling the wrong number but apparently dont get that, and continue to call.
They called my mom's phone and said I fraudantly didn't report my assest? I have no clue what they were talking about. I called them and told me to press 0 for the operator. I did that and no one answered and the only thing the voicemail said is ext 223 wasn't available.
Caller name: Zeller and Associates
What I find kind of interesting is that a few weeks before this started a hospital called me (one that is nearby) asking for the same person, Jordan, who these zeller people are asking for. I checked the first number and it was legit and was the hospital's, but then why would these people ask for the same person? From what I've heard they ask for totally random people, maybe the previous owners of the phone number. I don't even have any credit or bank history at all, so how could I owe debt? I didn't call them, mostly because it seems like it didn't do anything for most others.
