A person called me from this number and asked about my home PC. Then asked to speak to some person I don't know. When I said he must have the wrong number, he told me I was lying and hung up. The number called back twice more and I did not answer, the voicemail left heavy breathing.
After these calls my phone mysteriously started saying my contacts stopped working.

I am getting calls day and night from this number. At first I answered but noone came on line. Now I don't answer but they keep calling. What do I do?

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

First called on Friday -- odd #; I didn't answer. Called again Friday. I blocked it on my iPhone, as I do with all spam calls. Called again Tuesday!! How did they get through?? I answered -- Henry/Harry? (obviously India) re: my computer. I gave them my usual "remove from your list" and hung up. Then it hit me might be legit--my laptop was stolen in December!! along w/ personal papers. So I called the number back and realized it was spam. Blocked it again. He/they called again this morning. This time it showed as "unknown." I answered bc I have a best friend who blocks her number. I won't be answering again. I very firmly told them to never call me again and he asked if I had lost my mind, if I didn't have manners to answer the call. Sad, sick people.

same as many other posts, claimed to be windows OS help line and wanted to fix my computer I told the caller never to call again but I'm sure that will not matter to the middle-easterner intent on breaking my computer. The guy called my cell but no way to truly block since his number has an extra digit which is only reflected in the receiving device I'm sure so don't really know what the groups phone number actually is.

In November 2015, I received a call under "unknown". The man had a thick Indian accent and told me he was from the Microsoft Technology Desk and that my computer was full of malware, etc. I told him I just ran Trend Micro and everything was excellent. He was abusive. He wanted to fix my computer. I tried hitting the cancel button on my phone, but I must not have hit it hard enough because I could not disconnect. These scammers know how to get to you. I said something and he told me I was disrespecting him and now he felt bad...
I did give him access (I am timid) and in front of my eyes the computer screen opened up and things started flying in and out. I was shocked! I thought he had better fix this or I am screwed. I knew he would ask for money. He wanted $299.00 on a credit card. I told him I didn't had that kind of money. He lowered the price to 199.00. I told him, "No." He wanted a check. He got so abusive I was crying and begging him to leave me alone. I was pushed to enter a USBank card number. I was going to call USBank after the call and report fraud. Then he wanted my computer password. I don'r know it. He insisted I did. Another Indian got on the phone and abused me some more. I finally was able to hang up. They called me back 15 times and I wrote down all the phone numbers. I was tying to get dressed so I could flee my apartment and go somewhere else. They popped up OneNote, which I have never used and started sending me text. Then someone else sent a chat down the side of my computer. I ran to my bank and they checked to see if any funny business was going on with my checking and savings. All OK. They told me to unplug my computer. The Indians got that 199.00 on my credit card immediately and I called USBank. IT would take 2 or more days to remove it. I spent 10 days calling USBank. Their fraud dept. knew about these guys. They operate out of Great Britain. She told me they were not done with me. They would return. On May 27, 2016, I had a red screen that stated 'This is a very dangerous website"; in small letters at the bottom it said, "microsoft..." I called my cable company who maintains my internet. I gave her the information. The web address is aijeiixquick.org. She knew it. It is a very bad virus. I would need to take it to a computer repair shop. I called the Geek Squad because I bought my computer there and they repair it. I got an appointment at 2:00 AM for someone to come the later that day. The repairman called me. I told him what he was up against. He backed off. It needed to go to the store. I am handicapped and cannot carry the computer. My brother had to help me. Best Buy was supposed to run a 48-hour program to get rid of the virus. They called me in less than that time. I was sceptical that anything was resolved. I was told that they did not find virus. Took it home and nothing but trouble with it and printer since. Called them and they sent a Geek Agent out. He left after 2 hours. Computer still not right. The cable company sent a repairman out. The Ethernet keeps going in and out. He couldn't help. I called Best Buy's Geek Squad and told the person in charge that I felt the Geeks in the store didn't try very hard to find the virus. She told me to bring it in. I have to download anything I want to keep, and they will sweep the computer clean back to factory settings.
Today I received a call from 8745622653. I blocked it, as I did the other numbers they called me from. I Googled it and there I see it's those scammers. Will I ever be rid of them? I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. My phone is ringing now from "NONE". They hung up when my recording came on. This is the number: 330-622-4323. Good luck everyone. Karen

I received a call from this number today 6/18/2016 very heavy accent Indian perhaps. They stated they were from Micro-soft and that they received an error report from my micro-soft account stating that viruses were being downloaded onto my computer. When I tried to get more information on where they were calling from he said New York, which I knew was not the truth because of the phone number. They wanted me ultimately to get on my computer and make some changes to it so that the virus's would not be able to download any more, which means they wanted to hack into my home PC and make changes to get private information from my computer. This is another scam don't fall for it!

I was told that my computer has malicious spyware on it and that these guys are the authorized Windows support center for the software warranty program. I gave them remote access to my computer, they ran a scan and said I had viruses and that if I didn't pay them they would block my computer. They said they will do this to any new computer I buy or exchange. The man argued with me and cursed when I told him I would need to verify this with Microsoft. At that point I decided to end the harassment and turned my computer off since I had allowed him remote access and I hung up. Please do something about these shysters!

A man with an Indian accent called saying he was from "Windows." I told him I don't own any Windows computers. He then gets rude and tells me, "Yes you do." I told him, "No, I only own Macs." He then continued to try to keep me on the line, to where I started getting suspicious. So I told him to F*** off and blocked his number. How rude!

I received a phone call from a man with a thick indian accent saying that he was microsoft support. I've heard the gig before and said that I own a mac and he said "listen lady, listen..." and i cut him off with the "i know you're a scammer and you need to leave me the fxxx alone". He called back 20 seconds later and said "mam, excuse me mam... "I want to f**k you in the p***y"... I responded with I hope when you go to jail for this scam that you drop the soap... hung up and gave the phone to my coworker when he called back, as I was on the phone and she told him that she was calling her 13 year old daughter and he said they must have been getting disconnected. He hung up real quick

The &*#&*! initially pawned themselves off as "Windows", thinking most people would mistake them from Microsoft. Microsoft would NEVER call their customers. After making this point, the moron on the other end finally admitted that he was calling from a company called Windows Service Angels. He claimed that my PC had been sending spam and viruses out to the internet for several days now and he wanted to correct the issue. Of course, knowing he was full of %^@!, I pushed further, just to have him squirm asking, "Can you give me the serial number for the copy of Windows I'm running?" He rattled off a series of random numbers, which wouldn't come close to a serial number for a copy of any Microsoft product. I then asked him, "Well...ok...what version of Windows do you show I'm running???". He quickly replied, "You're running a copy of Windows 7!". I fired back, "Nice try and terrible guess! I'm running Windows 10 and that machine hasn't been on or connected to the web in a week!!!". DO NOT FALL for this garbage. These people are complete scammers and need to be stopped

Received three calls from this number in one afternoon - did not leave a message, did not respond when phone was answered live. A legitimate caller or company would have the courtesy to leave a message so this clearly is some kind of scam. I am on the Do Not Call Registry - but the calls keep coming.

Called me this morning at 9:00 AM. This same number 87456226534. Said that my "windows computer" was being downloaded. I asked what computer, since I have 5 of them all running Windows. He did not specify any computer which computer, just kept saying your "windows computer". He had a very thick Indian accent that made very difficult to understand what he was saying. I told him I was not OK with this call and hung up. Clearly a scam. Normally to have support from Microsoft, you put a request on-line and your number and they will call you, but not without your request first.

Called saying his name was Casey and that my computer was having problems because it had viruses. When I asked how he knew he said when I open my internet it sends him a message. I told him that isn't possible because I would have to approve of anything that gets sent to a tech support. He then YELLED at me saying I was ignorant and I don't know anything because I'm not a computer scientist.. For sure a scam.

They called, I answered, they hung up without speaking. I have blocked the number. Sharing the experience of my dad in case it helps someone else. He fell for it, and allowed them to remote in. Once they do, they create numerous problems, then offer to fix them for a quite high fee. Fortunately, he realized before paying them anything that he had been scammed, hung up, and called me. Unfortunately, they had already remoted in and created problems. He had the problems fixed where he bought the computer, and I changed the password, then deleted the software allowing them to remote in. The people fixing the computer missed that because it is commonly used for legitimate purposes.
