A person called me from this number and asked about my home PC. Then asked to speak to some person I don't know. When I said he must have the wrong number, he told me I was lying and hung up. The number called back twice more and I did not answer, the voicemail left heavy breathing.
After these calls my phone mysteriously started saying my contacts stopped working.
Read through the posts and they all sound very familiar. I've received numerous calls from random numbers and this being one of them. Always purporting to be "Windows Helpline or Tech Support" even though I clearly did not call them. Checked with our IT guys at work and they confirmed it is a scam. I noticed that whenever I've called them out on this and say the word "scam" they immediately hang up.
He called saying his name was "Jack" and it was regarding the Windows/Macintosh computer. I said, go ahead "Jack" let me hear your bullshit. I guess he didn't want to be descriptive and hung up. I believe the same number calls saying they are with the Treasury department, that's funny I didn't know there was a Treasury department in India
87456226534 total scam about my windows Microsoft computer sending them a message. 2nd time they called. I knew it was a scam and asked where there where and he said California Marina/ San Joe's. I said you didn't pronounce that right and I use Linex operating system they hung up. I also said right away my computer is turned off and not plugged in how is it sending you messages.
Caller had a heavy Indian accent. Caller said that he's from Windows Tech Support and that he wants to help remove some viruses from my computer. When I told him I have a Macbook, he changed and said that he's now from Apple Tech Support. Don't waste your time by picking up, it's a scam.
Called over and over again. Even in the middle of the night. I blocked the number on my cell, but it still comes through. The caller is telling me I have a problem with my PC and they need to access it. I hang up and they keep calling back. They also call my mother 20 times a day and cant seem to get them to stop calling.
Calls from this number start up in the early evening and continue on for a couple of hours. They called 4 times within an hour. I never answer phone numbers I don't recognize, especially if it's from an "unknown". As I type this number is calling me making it 5 times! As annoying as it it I would sure like to know what it's all about! It's creepy.
Caller name: Out of Area
They called 3 times prior to me answering, starting at 6:57pm. Lady called about my home computer, asked to speak to the main user. Told her We don't have a computer. She said "ohh..." I hung up. Same number called 5 times after that in a 2 hour span! Answered twice, to tell them stop calling, they wouldn't say anything and just hung up. Last call was 9:00pm, jerks!
She had heavy accent telling me my computer had issue and needed to remove it. Asked if I was the user. I just stopped answering /talking and she kept on and then with no response from me she said 'hello?' I hung up. It scam caller.
This number calls at least once a day, sometimes even at night while I am sleeping. I do not answer it anymore. It is something about computers.... scam. Not sure what there alternative motive is. But I read all of the texts being posted already and mine falls right in it.
SCAM, SCAM,..... don't answer.
They called, I answered, they hung up without speaking. I have blocked the number. Sharing the experience of my dad in case it helps someone else. He fell for it, and allowed them to remote in. Once they do, they create numerous problems, then offer to fix them for a quite high fee. Fortunately, he realized before paying them anything that he had been scammed, hung up, and called me. Unfortunately, they had already remoted in and created problems. He had the problems fixed where he bought the computer, and I changed the password, then deleted the software allowing them to remote in. The people fixing the computer missed that because it is commonly used for legitimate purposes.
Called saying his name was Casey and that my computer was having problems because it had viruses. When I asked how he knew he said when I open my internet it sends him a message. I told him that isn't possible because I would have to approve of anything that gets sent to a tech support. He then YELLED at me saying I was ignorant and I don't know anything because I'm not a computer scientist.. For sure a scam.
This caller has been persistent. I've hung up, told them I'm not interested and now I blocked the number. It is annoying as they still call back. I hope that after the number is blocked the calls stop. These scams are horrible. Please do something.

Thick Indian accent calling from Microsoft Tech Support to give me some viruses.
This number called me 6 times in 30 mins this morning. I answered and told them I was contacting police and to stop f-ing calling me. He cursed at me and hung up. They called back 3 more times. And they called me a few times last night. Heavy Indian accent. Said something about security on my computer. I told him I don't have one.
Called me this morning at 9:00 AM. This same number 87456226534. Said that my "windows computer" was being downloaded. I asked what computer, since I have 5 of them all running Windows. He did not specify any computer which computer, just kept saying your "windows computer". He had a very thick Indian accent that made very difficult to understand what he was saying. I told him I was not OK with this call and hung up. Clearly a scam. Normally to have support from Microsoft, you put a request on-line and your number and they will call you, but not without your request first.
Received three calls from this number in one afternoon - did not leave a message, did not respond when phone was answered live. A legitimate caller or company would have the courtesy to leave a message so this clearly is some kind of scam. I am on the Do Not Call Registry - but the calls keep coming.
The &*#&*! initially pawned themselves off as "Windows", thinking most people would mistake them from Microsoft. Microsoft would NEVER call their customers. After making this point, the moron on the other end finally admitted that he was calling from a company called Windows Service Angels. He claimed that my PC had been sending spam and viruses out to the internet for several days now and he wanted to correct the issue. Of course, knowing he was full of %^@!, I pushed further, just to have him squirm asking, "Can you give me the serial number for the copy of Windows I'm running?" He rattled off a series of random numbers, which wouldn't come close to a serial number for a copy of any Microsoft product. I then asked him, "Well...ok...what version of Windows do you show I'm running???". He quickly replied, "You're running a copy of Windows 7!". I fired back, "Nice try and terrible guess! I'm running Windows 10 and that machine hasn't been on or connected to the web in a week!!!". DO NOT FALL for this garbage. These people are complete scammers and need to be stopped
I received a phone call from a man with a thick indian accent saying that he was microsoft support. I've heard the gig before and said that I own a mac and he said "listen lady, listen..." and i cut him off with the "i know you're a scammer and you need to leave me the fxxx alone". He called back 20 seconds later and said "mam, excuse me mam... "I want to f**k you in the p***y"... I responded with I hope when you go to jail for this scam that you drop the soap... hung up and gave the phone to my coworker when he called back, as I was on the phone and she told him that she was calling her 13 year old daughter and he said they must have been getting disconnected. He hung up real quick
A man with an Indian accent called saying he was from "Windows." I told him I don't own any Windows computers. He then gets rude and tells me, "Yes you do." I told him, "No, I only own Macs." He then continued to try to keep me on the line, to where I started getting suspicious. So I told him to F*** off and blocked his number. How rude!
A caller with a thick heavy accent called about my computers and that it was sending out viruses and he was a windows technician who could help me get it fixed. I told him ,that I was not giving him any personal info and not letting him remote in either, but thank you I will have my technician Brother check on my computer's. He cussed at me then hung up
I was told that my computer has malicious spyware on it and that these guys are the authorized Windows support center for the software warranty program. I gave them remote access to my computer, they ran a scan and said I had viruses and that if I didn't pay them they would block my computer. They said they will do this to any new computer I buy or exchange. The man argued with me and cursed when I told him I would need to verify this with Microsoft. At that point I decided to end the harassment and turned my computer off since I had allowed him remote access and I hung up. Please do something about these shysters!
