Called to explain how they reduce rates, but could not explain who they are other than their name Incus. This is a scam and should be avoided.

Company name is INKAS callers identified himself as Ron Madeocks.
Wanted merchants statements. Says visa master card hired them to make sure latest discounted rates are applied by card processor. Every things about sounds like a scam or methods to develop a list for the card processing poachers to start harassing you more. Should be a way to stop this kind of dishonest practice.

Had this guy call our business several times from a company called Incus. Wanted access to our Merchant Reports for our debit/credit card machines. Claimed to be able to lower rates. Told him I didn't have time to speak with him and he called the business dozens of times over the next few days. Finally, I spoke with him and told him to leave a number where I could call him back when it was convenient for me. He told me if I called the company number and tried to use his extension, it wouldn't work because he was on sabbatical. Instead gave me an alternate number that I could call and leave a message and he would get the voicemail and return my call. Very sketchy!

They just called my business and told me they are a company called "Inkas", there was reduction of rate for debit and credit card payment fees.
Since I do not deal with any company called "Inkas", I asked her how they obtained my information and told me she got it is on their system.
I asked the address of the company and told me the head office is in toronto, could not provide me the address of the company and told me to google it and it will be there, so I did. I, coming from financial and banking business, asked a lot of questions and she could not give me much straight answers.

No address on their website.

The address she gave me was in montreal, which she claims where she was calling from.
1890 Sherbrooke West.
Montreal, QC, H3H 1E8

So I dug further, streetviewed on google with that address.
Hmmm, it appears no such company exists on that address.

matter of fact, company called "Inkas security" is located on
9350 Bd Leduc
Brossard, QC J4Y 0B3

also on streetview, does not exist. It's a shopping district.

The caller ID appeared "1-866-695-1846"
The number she gave me was "1-877-513-4729"

suspecting telemarketing scam and reporting to better besiness bureau and canadian anti-fraud centre.

Call all three of our clinics at least 3 times a week, asking to speak to our owner. Have told them multiple times that no one has time to talk to them, please leave a phone number where WE can contact THEM. They refuse, just say they will call back at a later date. Very frustrating to have to keep talking to them, I really wish there was a way to get them to stop!!

I was called yesterday, they claimed to be from "Merchant Services", I told her I was too busy, she said she would call back. She called back today, claiming to be from "Inkas" this time... She asked me to go over my statement with her, and when I told her that I would not discuss it because they are not our current company, she became rude and insistent... I hung up the phone.

I hung up as soon as he asked for my Dad the first time. The rep immediately called back and asked for him again. I told him my Dad passed away 2 years ago and that I'm tired of telemarketers calling despite our asking them to take us off the callers list to which he responded that he wasn't selling anything, to stop my crying and have more respect for my Dad's memory.

Great rep for your company, Incus. Thanks for making my day. I'll be sure to go out of my way next time to buy whatever garbage your 'not' selling. Lying, manipulating, ignorant, abusive, insulting, callus lowlifes.

Every time I get a call from a # I don't recognize, I cruse all the forums to determine who called. 95% of the calls are scams and the others are cell phones (some legit). I get a lot of calls as I have a business at home. I get many calls a week between the business and home phone, not to mention all the junk faxes. I too have had my numbers on the DNCList since it's inception. What gets me when I read all these different forums, is how many people ask how to stop it, and the only good answer so far is the Panasonic (phone block). I have 2 sets, one for each phone line. They block 30 numbers and I had those filled in the first month! So phone block works but 30 numbers is not enough. I wonder why Panasonic (or others) don't allow for a lot more?

I am always searching the net for blocking devices. There are a few, but in Canada they cost $100.00 or more (for a good one). If paying that is worth it to stop this garbage, then get one. I would need 2 - one for each phone line. Then last week I found the site - PhoneTray.com and got excited. You need a computer that you can leave running all the time, but for me, thats OK - I have one that runs all the time. But even if I didn't, I would buy a used one on line for $75.00 and dedicate it as part of my "Kill the scammers program" because nobody else is stepping up to stop this for us. Once you have the old computer, get the software and the Modem package from PhoneTray ($80.00) and install it on your phone line and block 1200 calls including complete area codes and more.

Well this sounds wonderful and in a week I will be getting mine in the mail and can't wait to try it. If it works well, the software can handle 2 phone lines so I will get the second modem for $25.00 for my other line and that's it for the scummy scammers.

I've invested in a lot of things in my life. Most were good but some were not. I think that this is a small investment to take back that part of my life that these jerks have picked away at.

Don't wait for the phone companys to do anything - they are making money off these guys - and the government and their DNCList, like always, is just lipstick on a pig. If there is any interest, I will let you know in a couple of weeks if this new investment is worth it.

Calls themselves incus financial or something like that
Calls and asks for financial and personal information. When we refused to provide the same became rude and started dialling our number over and over again a for the rest of the day. When we take the line they don't answer. What sort of jobless beggars are these?
Looks like they are so desperate for business they get frustrated and harass people who don't want to deal with them. Nobody should deal with such unprofessional businesses who appear to employ rude beggars from the street with no sense of decency, good manners or ethics.
Its time they shut down before they go bankrupt ( for lack of business) or be sued for harassment.
