Caller name: Jalisa ext 1053 and ms butterworth

Caller type: Debt Collector

Jalisa keeps calling for an extended family member that has been deceased for about two years. She said she will continue to call because my parents refuse to cooperate with her.

I asked to speak to a manager. A lady identifying herself as Donna butterworth said she was the manager. She spoke with uneducated arrogance and instead of taking my complaint seriously she continued to behave like her subordinate. She said she'd look into the number and if it did not match the person they were calling they would try to remove it from the list

I then called again and asked for a manager, and they said they'd put me to Donna butterworth. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to. They put on Julie. I told her I wanted to complain. I mentioned jalisa and Donna. Instead of taking my complaint she started to ask questions again. She told me that my parents number would be taken off the list.

I asked her if my parents would receive anymore calls. She said the number was off the list, in a very condescending manner. I told her to just answer the question. I asked after 24 hours will my parents receive anymore calls? She promised they would not. I asked her to just say yes, or no.

They all seemed to think that my parents were obliged to cooperate. That eos ncn was the one that was being inconvenienced. And they all seemed to think that we were lying about the death.

If this is a collection agency Ontario law dictates that a collection agency MUST follow these steps;
1 - A letter must be sent providing full details.
2 - Phone calls are permitted ONLY during certain hours of the day and that includes weekends.
3 - A collection agency can telephone as often as they wish ONLY if a legible message is left for the recipient.
4 - If no message is left then the recipient of these calls has ground to file a harassment complaint.

Points 1 - 3 is law and if none of this has occurred to the ones receiving these calls you have under the collections agency act the right to file a formal complaints and the collection agency will be forced to cease and desist any collection attempts until they comply with the law.

Here is their information on this company below: I talked to Bell asking why they would send my personal information including my social insurance number to a third party collection agency. Bell sells these debts to them they don't care if you owe them or not. The lady I talked to from Bell said that the debt was sold to them so Bell would have to send the money they collect on these debts to this Company. So basically there are no privacy rules with Bell your personal information is not safe since they will provide all personal information without your knowledge another reason to think twice before dealing with Bell.

What I have decided to do is contact Bell and request information on how much they sold the debt for and asked them to provide confirmation of the personal information they sent to this company including how much they sold it for it will be interesting to see just how much my personal information worth to Bell. Think about you don't know who these people are they could be holding your information and using it to take out personal loans, apply for credit cards.

This company is not registered in Canada as a licensed Collection Agency and should be.

Nor-Don Collection Network Inc

Back in July 2013, I received a call on my cell phone, I was at work so I couldn't answer it. 5 seconds later, my work phone rings, and it was the same call. I have taken law and know a collection agency is NOT allowed to phone at your place of employment. Anyway, she said I owed for an account with bell mobility. Anyway, I borrowed the money from a family member, paid the settlement amount and received a letter in the mail saying it was paid in full. I wanted to get a phone so I tried yesterday (march 11 2014) and was accepted with a $400 deposit. Suddenly the story changed and I had a balance of $250.00 before I could get another account. So I phoned this number that bell mobility gave me... 1-866-668-1887 and kept getting recordings to leave a voicemail, so I decided to try again today and actually got a person to talk to, explained my issue and said that I thought it was very unfair of them to tell me it was dealt with only to find out I still had a balance. She proceeded to tell me it said on my letter they sent that if I wanted services with them, I would have to pay the full balance (which it does not say anything to that effect) A "manager" came on the phone and basically called me a liar by telling me I was trying to hide from my debts and just didn't want to pay my bills off, that bell was worried I would go delinquent on them and I had no leg to stand on because her recordings clearly said that the girl told me I had to pay the full balance. She expected me to send the letter to her so she could see it, but she wouldn't allow me to hear the recordings of the calls. I told her that I had taken law and I knew enough to know that it wasn't right of them to phone my work and get me fired, she asked for proof that I got fired because of them, saying this with an attitude, so I didn't stay very calm and asked her how I was supposed to prove it seeing as I didn't work for them because they did in fact fire me right after the calls started. This is a very frustrating situation seeing as bell gave me this number. Makes me wonder, are they in on this scam too? or do they just not realize that they are basically scamming people by using this number?

Due to the fact I have the same first name, they re calling me thinking they can pull a fast one and asking how long I have the phone number. couldn't keep up with her stupid questions. I had to hang up because she was very persistent and refuse to identify herself.
thought cell numbers were suppose to be private, this is not right.

Calling for Don Lepine Re: Bell Canada non-payment - threatening disconnect. Call on my cell last night. Husband listened to message at coffee shop. I listened to get phone number thinking this was a legitimate call left mistakenly to our cell. It cost us
$1.80 to listen to the message twice. The person calling identified herself as Karen Signwell and made reference to someone named Shelley who had spoken to him on the 18th of October. They had called his home number and are now calling his cell number, which unfortunately is ours. I googled 1-866-668-1887 to find our these are scam artists.

Sooo annoying. Please get this number from calling me. I get this number at least once a month and every time I pick up, its the same lady speaking. But like, it's probably a voice message. She left no name and just told me to press 1 or something. She was calling in regards to Bell Canada, even though I'm not with Bell.

I am receiving calls from this number despite paying all my bills with Bell promptly. I have never ever left a bill unpaid and upon contacting Bell, they respond that they have no whatsoever connection with the id debt collection agency and that I should just ignore their calls. I want to report this number as they are calling me atleast three times a day and filling my voicemail box with messages! I have decently responded their call and informed them of my debt-less status and they threaten to call again and again.
