It has been XM/Sirius. One of my 2 satellite radios died and I had to replace it. The service had to be cancelled on the dead radio and then activated on the new one. While getting this worked out, I added an additional radio to my wife's truck. Therefore, they did not lose an account, they gained one.
About 3 weeks later, I got a phone call and multiple e-mails wanting me to restore my subscription. I was polite and told them the story. After another week or so, they called again. I was polite, explained the story yet again. They said I would be removed from the call list.
The next week, I got another call. This time, I got really nasty with them and demanded they put an entry in the file to stop calling me.
About 6 weeks have passed, but this phone number has been on my Caller ID last night and tonight. I was out and did not take the call. There will be a supervisor on the phone and a whole lot of screaming if I am home when they call probably tomorrow night.
XM has never been right since Sirius took them over. Mel Karmazin must be starting to hurt for money. It must really suck to only have a net worth of $650 million.
Get three calls per day everyday of the week. Most obnoxious. I found contact information listed below on the following website: http://consumerist.com/2008/04/reach-sirius-executive-customer-service.html
I called the 888-635-5142 number which was just a recording. I spoke over the recording and said "representative". I was forwarded to a 'real' person of whom I asked for contact information for the CEO, Mel Karmazin to complain about these calls. She was very apologetic, but could not give me a number to reach him, just an address.
She did offer to add my number to Sirius XM Radio's own DO NOT CALL list. She took my number and address info to add to their list. She said it would take 7-10 days for my info to be removed from their call list. We'll see if that happens...

XM Radio calling likely to telemarket. I didn't pick up, but since I recently cancelled my subscription with them, I did call back to ensure there were not any issues. The woman I spoke to was very polite and pleasant and offered to put my on the no-call, email or mail list immediately. Didn't try to sell me anything, or push the product. I have no problem with XM Radio as a whole, or their customer service, I just can't afford it right now.
I cancled them but they keep calling me and I told them they dropped the Fox Talk Radio chanel so them could get lost but here they are calling me on Sunday morning while I am in Church. What about NO is it they don't understand. They also raised the rates. When are they going to learn good service and low rates are what keep clients thus more cash flow and better bottem line. But since they keep loosing accounts they have to raise rates to cover there losses. Its to bad they have idiots running the show.
After reading all the information, I assume this number that keeps calling me as well....8664094196 is XM Radio wanting my services back also. I cancelled because I had an online account set up and was going to pay my bill online but their online service bill pay had issues for weeks. I like to have printable receipt for my transactions which is why I do not deal with phone calls. I called them however and I had to repeat my questions/concerns to three different people, as if they do not track what I am saying and hand me off to someone else. This is my last bullet with any company. I do not like getting the run around and I therefore took my business elsewhere.
However, as to the last poster.....PAT.....when they call me the do not leave messages. They call bright early in the morning and very late at night. They have scared me at 6:00am before. I have since blocked their numbers but thought it was creepy that when they finally did leave a message, it was talking and grumbling in the background and scary...No person completely audible as if they were just recording themselves driving down the highway.
The number is indeed XM radio. After canceling my subscription, I was getting up to 4 calls a day, but they have recently slacked off but have not quit. Because of this problem, I recently registered my telephone number with the National Do Not Call Registry, a federal government operation, https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx . This requires all but a few '800' numbers to take my number off their list. It takes up to 30 days for them to comply and stop calling, and if they don't you can file a complaint with the federal government at the same website. In my case, XM's deadline is 21 April 2012, after which I will file a complaint with the feds for each XM call after that date.
sirus-xm is on a perpetual self destruct cycle. The more they annoy, the fewer customers. they acquire. Their biggest client base, the over-the-road traveller, has other options. Their lack of organization and civility should lead to eventual Chapter 11. My complaint is just as the others-bothersome phone calls. It might be best Not to respond- their calling program MIGHT give up after a certain number of no response calls.
I cancelled service with them in Aug and they evidently didn't cancel per my request and called asking for my credit card info since my number on file has expired. do they think I was born yesterday I am NOT giving my number over the phone especially when you contact me. I sold the car in June they already got a few extra months out of me I wish they'd leave me alone or at least send a bill. I'm never going to give a outsourced call center my credit card.
I cancelled XM radio. They said I had a balance of $13.00. Okay, send me a bill and I will send you a check....They wanted a credit card. I said No. Why would I leave a current credit card number on a system I have no way of monitoring? I have never received the bill, just a ridiculous amount of calls. I'm now going to up the ante, complaints at all levels (fed, state, city, blogs) to follow.
