Claiming to be from concentrix on behalf of keybank but refused to say the purpose of the call. Demanded I give them personal information. Called every day for over 2 weeks, even though I have explicitly said not to ever call again. When I asked to speak to a supervisor (on 4 separate occasions!) they refused until I gave them personal information.

Caller name: Concentrix on behalf of KeyBank

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

I recently started business with KeyBank so I don't know their protocol. I got a call on my work line (first red flag, as this is always a backup number) from a man who sounded like he was in an Indian or Pakistani call center. My caller ID read KeyBank so I picked up. The man asked for the last four digits of my social and I asked why. He said he understands if that makes me uncomfortable, so how about my date of birth? I said I still didn't know why he was calling. He gave me this number to call back when I'm ready - as if this would a more secure line. Like another commenter (also in Washington) had I not been savvy I would have easily given away my details. These guys are getting good. I called my branch and the manager confirmed that it sounds like a scam.

"KeyBank" is what the caller ID reads. A call has been coming in almost every day leaving a generic message. This has been happening for several weeks. I happened to answer the phone and a woman stated she was from "KeyBank" and needed to verify my account number to verify who I was to make sure they are speaking to the right person. She sounded very professional and plausible. I would not give out my account number so she asked for the last four digits of my social security number. I stated she had been calling me and so she should have the information available. She repeated she needed to verify who I was. I stated that I was concerned this was a scam. She continued to sound professional. In case it was I tried to think of ways that if it was legitimately Key Bank I could give her part of the information and she could give me the other part. I did disclose my street address and she knew the city and state. She again requested my social security number. I refused and stated I would go to my local branch and check with them there. She gave me her name and ended the call with "thank you for doing business with KeyBank." I took the name and phone number to my local branch and was told it's a scam. The woman was very good, she maintained composure the whole time, she sounds just like a bank representative. If I wasn't savvy, or if I was overtired and not thinking well, it would have been very easy to fall for this one.

repeated calls asking for another family member. spoke with key bank fraud line, personnel said they could do nothing to stop calls, that here are numerous scams over which they have no control. i have no doubt that this this is true but also suggested that if i could find information on internet suggesting scam perhaps key bank could alert their consumers. i suggested they alert their consumers of fraudulent call, from Concentrix representing key bank in either letter or consumer alert on web page, also reminding consumers of Key Bank notification policy and cautioning consumers to never give out information

This is a company that is affiliated with Key Bank in their collections department. I have requested that they stop calling and they lie and say that they have added us to the do not call list and yet they still call every day and oh, by the way, the payment was made directly at a local branch. I am reporting to the BBB. I have had enough of the harassment and that is exactly what it is!

Received two calls from this number claiming to be Concentrix and contracted on behalf of Key Bank. Immediately wanted my SS number to prove who I was. I called Key Bank and they confirmed this is fraudulent and that caller does not represent them. If it were Key Bank they have ways to verify they are legitimate. DO NOT GIVE THESE CALLERS ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION. CALL YOUR LOCAL KEY BANK DIRECTLY IF YOU HAVE ACCOUNT CONCERNS!

Keeps calling our office and asking for the same person. I say they are unavailable and they hang up. We have done this multiple times for multiple days. Now they call and as soon as I finish my normal "thank you for calling___, ___ speaking" the line goes dead. They have called 10 times in two days. Extremely annoying. The number has called as both KeyBank and Concentrix on behalf of KeyBank. Our company does not have an account there.

Called both our cell numbers. When I see an 8xx number and no caller I'd I give them two seconds to respond. If they say nothing in that period of time I hang up. After the last hang up I dialed the phone number back. Said it was Keybank. Keybank local branch knows nothing about it. Blocked number on both phones.

Caller name: "Out of Area" claiming to be Concentrix on behalf of Key Bank

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

This scammer has literally called our home hundreds of times since our son took out a car loan with Key Bank (for which he faithfully makes his payment every month). We have the ability to block their primary number (866.325.9677), but they inevitably call right back from a different number we haven't yet blocked, and the latest is that they were able to block their number and still get through even though we have ALL blocked numbers blocked from getting through on our private line. We actually pay a monthly fee to Frontier for this service. It works for everything but hospital systems (I don't know why) and some government agencies. Anyway, they always ask for our son (who no longer lives with us), and I either hang up, tell them there is no "so & so" at this number, or that he no longer resides with us. In response, they ask for his new number, and I tell them I will not give it to them. Today, I answered because the number was blocked, and I thought it might be the hospital calling about another one of our children. When I realized it was the Key-Bank scammer, I asked the woman, "Where are you calling from?" Her: "Concentrix on behalf of Key Bank." Me: "But where are you calling from?" Her: "Concentrix for Key Bank." Me: "What country are you calling from?" Her: "The Phillipines." Me: "I read about this online and it is a scam." Her: "This is not a scam. Is there a 'so & so' at this number?" Me: "No." Her: "Thank you for your business with Key Bank. Goodbye." We have never dealt with such an incessantly obnoxious scammer before. On the other hand, if this is truly is Concentrix on behalf of Key Bank, then Key Bank is downright awful and needs to be sued for harassment. All this said, regardless of whether it's a scam or Concentrix, my husband and I will NEVER take out a loan with Key Bank.

Confirmed by KeyBank's corporate office; this IS a debt collector. They called me at work a few times asking for personal information, each time I didn't comply because they would not tell me the nature of the call. In the future they should let their callers know why they're calling first before trying to acquire personal info.

They have called me twice, asking for me to verify my account with last four of social or birthdate and address. The first time they called I told them I was driving and couldn't talk and they insisted that I give my information. After hanging up, I called the KeyBank number on my card (which I trust) and they had no information about why someone from Key would be calling. Today Concentrix called again and I wouldn't give up any information. They said they were the Customer Solutions department and gave me this number. I hung up and looked it up here.

Phishing scam. When called back number recording said "This is Key". Then asked to punch in last 4 of social, date of birth and account number. Put fake information in, was told we can't find the account, then asked if I wanted to connect to a Customer Service Rep. Did that then played stupid, said I had gotten a call and what was this regarding. Person on other end (heavy Indian accent) said we are calling regarding your account, I asked who is we and was told this is Key Bank. I told her I did not have an account with Key and that this was an f-ing scam. Insisted about three times that they were calling about my Key account until I told them what part of I don't have an account with Key did you not hear. I was then directed to go to my local branch for further information.

After being told this is a scam, eff off and hanging up, they had the nerve to call back, insist it wasn't a scam and offered to provide a badge number! Told to eff off a second time. Since we have a car loan with Key Bank, we contacted them and they verified that there were no notes on the account that anyone had tried calling us. Definite scam or possibly inside job.
