I received the letter just like anyone who already made a comment. Two free airline tickets? I just don't believe I'm that lucky. So, I googled and found this web site.

Today: 7/8/13
Received the letter today, so it must be coming around again. I did my homework because it looked suspicious, and I'm glad I did.
The letter was worded almost identical to the previous Dana Kline letters posted earlier. Only mine was 'Signed' by the Guest Services Manager, Elise Warren.

I actually received this as a callback number in a letter offering free flights. I can't believe no one has done anything about this in three years. Besides being fraud isn't it a breach of the telco's TOS? Can't the company cancel the service?

I also received this communication and was curious to see their exploitation scheme, so I called them. Spoke with Brian who told me he was representing company called "Emerald Coast Travel Inc. who was giving these tickets away as a way to promote their new company. In order to get the tickets you (and your spouse (mandatory)) would have to go to the Holiday Inn Express in Port St Lucie to sit through a 90 minutes session and in addition they would throw in a 3 night stay at any Marriot hotel. In order to qualify, you must show up at the appointed time, speak English fluently, be American citizens, make $50,000 annually, be married, and be of age. They verify your name which they already have since they sent you mail and ask for an email address (which everyone should make a free one just for junk/"free deal" stuff like this). It sounds like all the other get-them-to-listen timeshare schemes. I think if everyone attended these manipulator's "opportunity" sessions and acted the fool, they may stop playing games with people.

Just got the same letter. I've never even been on a plane, nor have I ever entered into any sort of drawings for something like this. I did not follow up on the letter cause I knew it was BS. I am a Deputy and unfortunately I have seen a thousand different scams like this. Some people have lost a lot of money on things like this though. The FBI will conduct and investigation but only after they get something like one million complaints on the same scam. So, basically these people will continue to get away with it.

I was told I won two free tickets. They wanted my credit card info, for "federal taxes and fees" . They are operating in Alaska out of Marriott Residence Inn, 1035 E 35th ave, in Anchorage Alaska. Marriott has so far declined to shut them down.

Obviously the mailer is a scam as US Airlines does not even exist! It's US Airways. Moron scammers! I feel like calling the number and just unloading on these rats, but won't waste my time. Don't be deceived by these hucksters - no real airline in this country just up and gives away $1400 in airline tickets.

Instead of wasting money minding other people's business in Afghanistan and Iraq, US government should be spending the money on law enforcement at home.
