Computerized call came in stating it was an emergency to call them back about my expired microsoft product key because it's not working anymore & to call them back at 855-515-1131.
855 is a non geographical area code. 855 area code YOU pay for the call.
Nothing but a scam as no company will call to inform you of this & will not even call to say you have a virus of any computer problem period.

At 2:39 PM on July 24, 2017, a robo call was left on my voice mail. A female voice said "Emergency Call", the license key of my Microsoft Windows was expiring and to call 1-855-515-1131. Fake, fake, fake. Microsoft doesn't call people!

Left a message for me to call the 855-515-1131 number while telling me that my Microsoft License Key had expired and was no longer available to me and, that I should call this number. It did sound like a robocall? So happy that I was suspicious and did not call back!

urgent recording on my phone my microsoft had expired.
I called and a single person called in an echo sounding room.
Very tricky. Dont' fall for this people. My intuition told me to google this number and I am reading all these accounts while talking to "Jason Richardson" he had a very strong indian accent this "Jason Richardson" with an employee # "ms329056" probably also fake?
stated on "Jefferson Blvd in LA, CA"
I give all this information to others investigating so you can see this is BS too. *** DO NOT GIVE YOUR PASS WORD****
This person was very fast talking and persuasive. I almost fell for it.
I am texting my computer support guy on this call with him instructing "DONT DO IT, HANG UP"
I hope this helps anyone to NOT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.
Funny thing, I had just been to Best Buy for a computer tune up and they informed me that all security was about to expire so this scammer has some kind of access somewhere. I will call Best Buy and report this too.
