This is Silver Cloud Financial. They deposited funds into my checking account without a contract or agreement from me and are now calling saying my payment is past due. I told them I do not have a loan with them and she wanted to speak to my HR Department (She called my place of work.) I guess she thinks she is going to garnish my wages but that can not be done without them taking me to court and winning a judgement against me.

This company preys on people who apply for loans through other websites. I did apply elsewhere in the past but when I saw the interest rate on the small loans I did not consent to any of them. Because my banking information was out there - Silver Cloud Financial used it without my knowledge or permission. I consider the funds deposited to my account a gift and they can not prove otherwise.

The e-mail address I used when applying for online loans got so full of junk mail I closed that address and do not have access to any messages so I don't know how to get in touch with Silver Cloud Financial. Thankfully they called again today and left a number. I will now call back and find out where they are located, how they got my information and file complaints against them, and the site that provided my info, with both the Attorney General and the State Banking Commission. As far as I'm concerned they are committing fraud and trying to bully me into paying on a loan I did not agree to.

I will send them a thank you card for the cash gift.

What if the company email you the loan contract and you signed it with the high interest. If the loan is illegal in my state willit be on my credit report.

the good news here is that in many states these loans are ILLEGAL, and are therefore null, void, and totally unenforceable. Close your bank account (most banks will let you put a deposit only hold while they set you up with a new acct) and ignore their calls - there is nothing more that they can do to you. they are basically loan sharks without any big leg breakers waiting to beat you up in the parking lot. why would anyone ever pay them back?

Great. I saw a deposit in my account today and did a search finding this thread. I guess I will have to get a new checking account as I did not authorize this. I have already contacted my bank.

Just like everybody here, money was deposited to my account without authorization from me. Few days days later they took almost half of it. By the time they tried to take more money out I have already closed the account. If I was not quick in acting, they would have taken more money than they have initially put in. I offered to send them the rest of their money by registered mail if they send me their address and a copy of my signed loan contract. They wanted more information from me, i.e SS# and my address. I did not give it to them. I told them that if I indeed contracted with them then they should send me a formal letter/copy of my loan contract to either my email or my address (which they should have). They said they cannot do that. So i still have about $200 of their money, I figured that is payment for all the financial trouble they caused me from having to close my account and changing payment cards for credit cards and utility bills. I incurred a few penalties for some bills that I forgot to change.

This place called me at work, and wanted me to verify my last four before they would tell me what the call was about, which I would not do. I have no idea. So the caller stated they would just keep calling me until I do verify it, because I had done business with them in the past. Once again, I have no idea! Who the h**l are these people?!

Silver Cloud is a big rip off. They prey on their victims through third party sites. Deposit money in your account without an agreement/contract, then run all through your checking account. When I put a stop to the account robbing they had the nerve to put it on my credit report as a landlord debit. I have to now dispute the false statement on my credit report with my "ATTORNEY" .......will update once this nightmare is over.

This company, Silver Cloud, is scary. Yes, I did sign a contract. I borrowed $1000, and have to repay $10,000 if I go by their payment plan. I was desperate at the time. They take advantage of people who are hurting, hungry, etc. Now, I am having trouble paying them back. Their calls are relentless.

This company finds their victims from 3rd party sites, puts money into your checking account (sometimes not even) then harasses you for repayment in large amounts of money in short amounts of time in order to accrue more and more interest in their favor. Check bank laws in your state. This is predatory lending and is illegal in many states. If it is in your state and you have been a victim of this, change your info and move on. It will not affect your credit or life whatsoever. Don't let them scare you into paying them back if you're scammed by these people

Silver Cloud is the worst mistake i made they are nothing but the biggest rip off in the United States! Thier front page add is a absolute LIE. Little do they tell you that to borrow $700.00 will cost you $2000.00 to repay under thier terms. I borrowed $700 and after paying back $910.00 they sent a balance of $560.00 but if not paid off by the next friday the new balance is $730. This financial institution is the worst decision of my life. I went as far as to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Companys like this are just legal loan sharks and need to be shut down. They are preying on the people with less than perfect credit and making it like they are a great salvation. When they are actually nothing but living h**l
