I have gotten multiple calls from this area code, the number seems to slightly change each time. This 417-7866 being the most recent. They all say your system has been compromised. They are trying to get your personal information. I'm surprised they haven't been stopped yet.

Pensacola, FL calls are several times most days, even when not online. They say my firewall is down. I have a VPN, so how do they even have a phone # associated with my VPN-ed IP. ARGG

Calls numerous times in an hour. This is harassment! When you call the number, someone with an accent answers. When you tell them to stop calling, that it is harassment, he says "it's because we love you."

Phishing expedition. If you are foolish enough to call back they'll tell you your bank account and credit cards have been compromised, and don't do any online banking or credit card activity until they can straighten things out for you. BTW, for the respondent above who said she's using a VPN, even if you stack two or three VPNs your computer's OS leaves a signature that tells what your actual geographical location is. The crooks are very, very clever these days.
