Caller name: Scammer, Inc

Returned the call from 8445408025 number and extension today to see what they are up to. They started fishing my personal information step by step including DOB, last four of SS# and other stuff. I told them to send any information they wanted to share with via Chase Secure Message Center. That was end of conversation.

Same situation as above comments. Woman caller left multiple messages staying that she is calling from Chase card services regarding a recent inquiry I made and to call back at 844-540-8025 extension 6571209. There was nothing more specific in the message and I received no alerts or messages on my online account. I concluded that this must be some sort of a scam where they would phish your credit numbers and personal information to "verify" that it is you when you call back.

Caller name: Joyce per message.

Caller envelope was 800-935-9935. Woman named Joyce left message. Did not speak English clearly. Calling per inquiry made. None was ever made to Chase. Said to call back at extension 6571209. Nothing specific, and there were no alerts on my account. I do not return these kind of calls, or speak with any caller.

Unsolicited call to my cell phone and home phone from this number representing they were calling from Chase Bank Services and that I should return the call and ask to be connected to Extension 6571142. They knew my full name as well.

Caller name: Chase (supposedly)

I received a voicemail from a man with an Indian accent and name who said he is from Chase. In the voicemail, he addressed me by my name and said he was calling about my inquiry. As I did contact Chase a week ago with an inquiry, I called back and reached this man at his extension 6571383. He asked me for my date of birth and the last 4 digits of my SSN. I told him I needed proof that he is indeed with Chase. He couldn't tell me anything conclusive, saying he needed my personal information first in order to get into my account. After looking up this number online and seeing it was suspicious, I told him I wouldn't continue the call. Then I called Chase to let them know about this apparently fraudulent call. They didn't know more than I do but recorded the phone number and the information I gave them.

Caller name: Chase Card Services

THIS IS NOT A SCAM:
I received a phone call regarding a charge I had disputed on my credit card. Called, and everything seemed legit-they other person knew the charge, the merchant with the dispute and the amount. They asked for my ss number and date of birth, which I provided. I asked to remove the dispute as the merchant agreed to refund the amount himself.

I got worried later as I realized this was not the regular Chase number, and freaked out when I found all these comments at this and other websites.

Called Chase at the number at my credit card. They did not know this number. HOWEVER, they did see that there was contact with me regarding my cc today, and after I inquired further they saw that the activity was to remove the dispute (exactly what I had asked) and that as personal info they had asked for my ss number and date of birth. Therefore it is 100% legit.

Most people probably don't figure it out when you call Chase cause you don't make a special request and therefore they can't confirm it was them-I asked them to cancel the dispute and that was actually shown on my credit card account. I also requested they disclose that this number is associated with them to avoid all the panic.
