DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBER to be 'taken off the call list! By pressing a number you are letting them know that the number they called is a live number, and you increase the chances of getting more calls! If you do not recognize the number calling you, DO NOT ANSWER! Answering tells them that they have reached a live number, and you may receive more calls. If you have a Smart Phone, block the number that called you. Protect yourself!

They say they are calling to verify my Google business listing. The caller ID said Texas on this call. I have gotten the same call from NY and California. I'm guessing that it's not Google. If that is true then it is a fraudulent call. I'm getting a call about every three days now.

I got a live person on the phone, and the guy (VERY rude) told me that he got my phone number from the Nextdoor site that our neighborhood uses for homeowner communication. I don't have it on my profile, but I might have posted it in a message somewhere for someone to get in touch about a lost dog. AGGRAVATING. I said to take me off the list, he interrupted me and said, "Are you just going to keep saying the same things or do you want to know how I can help you?" Yeah. Ugh.

I get a call from a different number everyday. This number is the 1 that called to day. Press 9 to be removed from call list doesn't work, telling them not to call doesn't do any good. They just call from a different number. I have tried to find a number to call google about this, can't find one. Our phone #'s are all on the Do Not Call list. Apparently that doesn't do any good either.

Called today at 2:45. If you call it back it asks if you want to be removed press one. My suggestion.......PRESS ONE. Its not that big of a deal. The way the law works now..a company cant just up and call. Especially if its a cell. (TRUST ME I WORK FOR A MARKETING COMPANY) At some point you clicked on something on the web that sent your information to them. You know there are ad spots all over every page you visit. SO....blame your web browsing for the unwanted calls you get. My company does not and will not buy leads. The information we get is volunteered to us by the customer themselves. Don't sign up to win that cool car at the mall.....you are inviting calls. Don't sign up for information on the web...you are inviting calls.

Rang, I answered, and nothing from the other end. The call last 10-15 seconds before the caller disconnected. . Obviously a part of scam, probably to first verify that your number is valid and that you answer.
