Caller name: would not give it after asking several times

This person has called several times (8 -10 times) within the last 2 weeks. I screen all incoming calls to avoid junk calls. Yesterday I did pick up and asked 3 different times for the callers name and what they wanted. I have tried calling the number listed on the caller id and every time I call I get a recording telling me the office was closed and was asked to call back Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm Pacific time ( the recording is a female voice but the caller who called me yesterday (1/22/2014) was that of a male. They never leave a message so I picked it up to ask to be put on their DO NOT CALL list but when I tried to get the caller's name he hung up after asking for me. I did not acknowledge who I was, I was attempting to find out who is bothering me at my home phone #. When I questioned who was calling he became rude and in a angry voice said something I didn't quite understand and then hung up, I was not given the option of placing my # on the do not call list. His tone and rudness scared me!
