Woman says she is from Microsoft and if I don't call the toll free number there will be a $99. charge to my account to fix the account. I do not have any account that needs fixing and if I did, Microsoft does it for free. It's a scam.

telling me that 299 dollars would be taken from my bank account unless I called and canceled the "Microsoft Security" subscription.
The man was from india most surely had a deep accent etc, The call said it was from Texas 1-817-402-0091. It seemed rather strange that when I hung up I went to call another number and I was still connected to the previous phone call. In order to assure that I was disconnected I shut off my phone.

Today, July 2, 2019, I just received a recorded call saying that I would have $299 debited from account if I didn't stop a Microsoft subscription. I don't know what this is about or if it's a scam. Has anyone ever calle back and found out any real information?

Thanks1
