Person called me from a Local Taxi Company in the town where i live, he wanted me to combine my Credit Cards together for there card for a one time fee of apprx $850.00 Canadian Dollars...I felt it sounded good as it was 0 interest of all balances for a one time fee...After i hung up the phone i thought about it and called back to cancel this transaction..They advised me they already mailed the card and this was within 20 minutes of original call...They said I have to wait 10 days and phone again....Meanwhile i have put my credit cards on HOLD....

I received a call from "Mr. Wilson" claiming to be from Experian and offering to lower my credit card rates. He wanted me to only verify the expiration dates on my credit cards so I was tempted, but if he was from Experian would he need me to tell him when my cards expire? It sounded fishy to me.

Chris stated he can lower my CC interest rate and said he would speak with my higher cc company and get a lower rate for me. He wanted my CC # with the expiration date.

So I called personally the CC company and they did said they sometimes will use a 3rd party to lower the interest rates. I asked the CC rep to lower my interest...she said I was at the lowest rate.

Chris called me back twice while I was on the phone with CC Company. Although I SO want lower interest rates...but I prefer the lower ratecome from the actual CC company.

- So need lower interest rate!

Said I had won an expensive prize from one of five possible. 1) 80" Samsung TV 2) front load Samsung washer and dryer 3) $200 AE gift card 4) a Holiday Inn vacation 5) a new car worth $25,000. All I had to do is come by their offices and scratch off a prize card. (Probably after a high pressure time share pitch) They said I filled out sweepstakes form at either Best Buy or Walmart. I never fill those out anywhere I think it's a robo dial call.

Pretty much the same experience as others. Call came from 800-732-9194. Claims to be with card member services visa and MasterCard, offering to lower cc debt. Basically wanting me to give him my current balance and to verify card numbers / dates. He got frustrated with me, when I told him I wouldn't give him that info without talking to the bank that issues the account. He "Jason Cross" gave me this call back number 817-382-1998 x193.

Offering lower credit card rates. He claims they are losing business because customers are closing their Visa accounts due to banks charging them high rates and they would contact credit card companies and get them to lower interest rates to below 4%

Claimed to be from "Visa and Mastercard" with authorization from Equifax to lower my cc rate. they called me from a local number and when I called back and asked for their website, they gave me ccrate911.com. That website claims to be a debt management company, but under their contact info, they have a fake UK address.
