A computerized call that is very hard to understand. Said something like call this number before we take this legal matter to court. It keeps calling my cell phone several times a day!

B.S. caller ID is "Texas", message about an IRS case, if they don't receive a call back it'll be taken to the local court house, etc. Called them back and yelled bloody murder about lying and scamming people. I doubt this was helpful, but honestly I feel better. FYI: The person who answered introduced himself as "Office Max Reed with the United State Internal Revenue Service".

They call and get the answering service. The tail end of the pitch is on the message. If I don't call them they will charge my account. I think they use other numbers too. The government can send a bomb and eliminate a threat but can't find a robo caller that calls for days.

The caller says that you had a subscription to their computer services and if you don't call them back they will reinstate the services and charge 499 dollars to your bank account. I don't have a computer. Why can't the government monitor robocalls and prosecute these criminals.

SCAMMING b******s!!!! I have no such subscription, do not want them to renew anything, & how dare they robo call me & say they will take in excess of $400 from my bank account to renew their service if I do not call them back. When I did call them back - the jackass on the phone barely speaks understandable English. I told him DO NOT EVER bother me again & I will report them to the BBB & whatever agency can get rid of scamming b******s like him.

This is the most scaring phone scam I never had. The woman with foreign accent saying that federal has a crime tax investigation and something about the court etc. It is from DC IRS, it take me minutes to realize it is the most horrible phone scam I received. I don't know how can someone to protect senior American citizen to avoid such a crime. I think they are target old people and probably with the foreign names. I just hope it will never happen to another people. And do you think they should be punished?

It was both a recording and a person. First the recording calls, something about the FBI trying to get in touch, the person's badge number even though you can tell it's a recorded message. Then it hangs up in the middle of the message. I called back out of curiosity, and a live person answered. Woman claimed to be with IRS this time, and wanted me to verify my ID. I said, no way, but I'm going to turn you in for phone fraud and scamming, then hung up.
