816-518-0333 IS A VERIFIED SCAM WOW!!!!
I kept calling back and asking each fake agent their id numbers, to switch it up id tell them their numbers were short or too long and they would correct themselves and SWEAR they were the IRS, I kept calling back and started each conversation with "Id like to state for the record that this conversation is being recorded, can I have your name and badge number please?" initially they would hang up and eventually one tried his best to assure me he was an IRS officer, I called again, got a woman who was eating and singing on the phone without saying hello, i assumed she had picked up the line by mistake, after listening in on her enjoying her day I said "hey whats up, what are you up to today?"
I couldnt believe her response "WORKING IN THIS SCAM OFFICE" I laughed and asked her again, she just confirmed she was a scam caller, I asked her WHERE she was and she told me I could ask anythng but that, so I had her explain the scam: The number "816-518-0333" is not theirs, those calls are auto generated, WE (the intended victims) call back, give our name and number and are told we owe the IRS and that an arrest warrant or law suit has been filed, she said at this point MANY people ask how they can pay right away and are directed to pay over the phone. In some cases they get access to bank accounts and social security numbers.

Message rec'd stating there was a warrant out for me and that I was to call 816-518-0333 and an IRS agent was awaiting my call. Did not call and will not call. If the IRS needed to reach me they'd send certified/registered letter.

Scammer claiming to be from the IRS. States that a lawsuit for fraud has been filed against you. This is definitely a scam because you have a recording instead of a live person. The recording starts before you answer the call and the recording has already skipped the identifying message. Finally, the IRS does not make phone calls for debts owed. The IRS sends certified mail and process servers. Further, no one is going to "lock you up without a trial and a judgment. Do not send them any money. Do not give out your social security number. Call the IRS directly if you want to talk to someone. They will verify the scammers or tell you if there is a legitimate case against you.

Left voicemail because I never answer calls if I don't recognize the number. Claimed they had repeatedly tried to contact me over the last 6 months and because I haven't responded it's comsidered fraud and lawsuit has been filed against me by the us government. These guys just don't quit! Can't believe anyone would fall for this c**p!
