I hope this message reaches everyone. The 813-382-3347 calls is a virus that locks itself to your phone's harddrive. It then plants an app that mirrors your phone or calling icon. Once you call this number, you have activated full permission rights to access ever aspect of your phone, to include your email, banking, and other apps downloaded. Pay attention to apps such as WhatsApp, Viber, Voxer, etc. The person behind this terrible deed will try to get you to text them back in order to access your harddrive. How do I know this...it happened to me until I figured that force stopping the app might give me some in between time to tracing the owner. If you force stop the app...it will stop all activity in relation to the app only, not your downloads or manufacturer apps. Good luck.

Caller name: Cricket Voicemail

Caller type: Unknown

This is one of several numbers that Cricket uses to set up your Visual Voicemail. Only happens on phones from Cricket, people. When you receive a voicemail, which shows up on your home screen, pressing it takes you to a number pad which dials the number. You are then required to put in your password (a number that you set up with Cricket when you started your service). That's how they know that it is you, not someone else. It's a security measure. Then it reads off any voicemails you currently have open.

Please stop with all these conspiracy theory garbage. Even a tiny bit of research, like asking for Cricket's Voicemail number on Voice Search would have given you this information.

I recently became a Cricket customer. And I keep getting a notification about setting up my voice mail. This is the number that shows up for me to call. When I called This number (813-382-3347) CM Security always pops up showing me that it is a fraud number. So, I'll follow up with Cricket Wireless company and make a complaint with them.

People please be aware of these scammers calling from China, India, Pakistan with aheavy english accent...Please DO NOT SHARE NOR GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION EVEN IF THE SCAMMERS ACT LIKE THEY KNOW YOU. Your ~Best bet is to NEVER ANSWER THOSE calls. And if they're calling your cell phone, download an app and block all unwanted calls. If they're calling your home phone, invest in getting a call blocking device that can block up to over 1000 calls or more. Also, keep a call log and report it to the FTC Federal Trade Commission.

He has called my home and cell phone looking for my daughter. He has called her cell phone from a different number (951-387-5063). He has called my son's cell phone. He claims a third party has "an action" against my daughter and she needs to call him and reference claim number 94192 before it goes to the county for action. He always says to call "the firm" with the above case number, but never gives the name of the "firm." Again, he is using the name "Daniel Matthews."

Leaves voicemail message notification on my phone with no linked missed call. Not sure why, never called the number. Assumed it was a bill collector. Either way, it is illegal. I'll have to search my phone for any unknown apps(I have found a few lerking in there which I did not download. I have Cricket(ATT) wireless service so maybe this is something they sell out. Very irritating. The virus thing sounds the moat plausible(adware, spyware) as our phones and tablets are mini computers.

This 813-382-3347 for Cricket's VM is a fake. It was embedded in my vm settings. When I call Cricket customer service; or what supposedly their customer service, I was told by someone named Megan with a robotic voice that this is Cricket's pilot no for VM. It's a fraud and a scam.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry at all of the tinfoil hat comments.

I'm chasing down another issue, but I've learned that 813-382-3347 is Cricket's voice mail phone number. If you call that number from your Cricket phone, it should let you check your voice mail (it works from mine).

If your phone is allowing that number to ring through to you, instead of downloading your voice mail messages when it gets called, then your phone is probably mis-configured, and you need to talk to Cricket (I note that several of the people so far have mentioned Cricket).

To the guy who said he's mad and wants to leave Cricket for AT&T, well, some news: AT&T is Cricket's parent company.

Wtf just wtf. You know Cricket Wireless's plan is great. On paper. But, this f***ing Number is spamming me excessively and I'm getting really annoyed. I'm going to ask Cricket about it but, most comments claim they got no good. This virus can be implanted into both GSM Unlocked Phones and Cricket instore phones. This little scheme is almost making me gonna switch to AT&T. I can't bear the fact that im getting 5-7 notifications of a spambot everyday. F this cricket.
