Caller said his name was Alex Jackson and was from Microsoft Refund department. Wanted to refund my $299.99 charge from last year for I being a senior citizen. Gave me a 32 digit letter/number code that was my license code from last year. Was told it was a scam last year and canceled my card before it got charged last year and now they say they are going to refund my card.

This number called me repeatedly. It starts as a robocall saying that they are going to automatically charge over $200 for Windows Technical service that has expired, but then says to press #1 if you want to opt out, which I did. A person named Roger picked up and said he was from Windows technical and that there was a problem with my computer. He said that there was no charge since I had already paid for the service. He was insistent that I log onto my computer and I repeatedly told him that I was caring for my baby and could not. So he kept saying he would call back and what time would be good. I asked for the phone number and said that I would call him. He said to ask for Roger Ext. MS1050. I looked up the number and found quite a number of complaints about this number being another scam.

Same as others. Said he wanted to refund $ for tech coverage charged by mistake. New it was a scam, wanted me to let him log onto my computer. NO WAY! gave me the 810-310-3495 # and said "call it". No thanks! Googled it and confirmed it was a scam. Hung up when I confronted him. Is the FBI investigating this? I'm sure there are non technical persons and/or seniors who might fall for this. BTW, he said his name was Jason Green just like many of the previous reports.

First thought he was with Microsoft then he said Windows and basically wouldn't give up. Wanted me to go to my computer so he could walk me through how to fix my problem. I really tried wearing him down. Finally, when realized he wasn't getting anywhere with me, he gave me this 810 number so "I could call and verify that he was who he said he was".

Wanted to refund $299.99 He went and made me think that it was the Micro Soft tech who took over my computer and seemed like he was fixing it. Had me go into my bank account (HOW STUPID AM I)
Going to get in touch with Microsoft now! PISSED hope nothing comes of it!

Called telling me that this was the last time that they were going to call me; that they had taken $300. out of my account as a annual fee, I told them that this transaction was not approved. They told me that I would have turn on my computer so that they could refund my money. I fell for that. They had me log onto my bank account so that they could refund my money. They said that the one checking account would not let them do it, that they would have to transfer the amount to my savings. They also told me that they would have to do it 3x (each time a $100. payment). They had me enter the first $100 (which showed up as $10,000). The man on the phone told me that I would have to go to the bank and send them a transfer for $9600. or else he would lose his job. He wanted me to lie and tell the bank that my son was entering into a business deal with the person. He got upset that I told him that I refused to lie. The bottom line he transferred $10,000 out of my checking and into my savings and expected me to wire him $9600. which did not happen. I did go to the bank and that's how I found out what was going on. He called me and left a vague message threatening my husband. He also got up on my FB page and sent 3 of my friends messages cussing them out.
