He told me he had a business matter in his office, and before explaining any further,he started asking personal questions. Then when I asked him to explain why he needed to know those things,he said he wasn't asking me,just telling me. I hung up. I don't owe anyone any money & have no political connections. He's trying to get personal information he doesn't need. Don't answer.

Has called my number a couple of times asking for me by a different name ( I changed my name 5 years ago- remarried) I am current on my student loans. They are automatically taken out of my bank account. I did recently contact a company about loan forgiveness. Which turned out to b a scam. I have since started receiving calls from this number.

Called me in the afternoon and asked to speak to my wife. Asked how he got my cell phone number and he then explained that he was trying to get a hold of my wife and having a hard time. I asked what the call was about and he said he was a collection agency for East Carolina University student loans. He provided my wife's cell phone number and birth date. I asked him when the last payment on these supposed loans had been made and he said no activity since 2008. Has called a few times since without leaving a voicemail. I looked up the name Justin Sutton in Rock Hill, SC and the linkedin page shows a highschool football coach. This seems like a scam to me.

Justin Sutton from south Carolina. I had been receiving numerous calls rife with mistakes about information about myself from justin Sutton. He had a south Carolina number. He called my boyfriend looking for me. I told him I thought he was a scam for numerous reasons I will not get into, now. He argued and claimed he had my address and was going to " get the money one way or the other", which I took as a threat. Don't talk to this guy.

Got a call from 803-326-1318 stating that he was trying to get a hold of my wife. I told him I would take down his information so she could call him back. He identified himself as Justin Sutton. When I asked what this was about he identified as a collection agency stating that my wife had not gotten back to him in regards to paperwork for consolidating her university loans. He wanted to confirm who I was before speaking further and gave me wrong information about myself. I simply agreed to the information he repeated (usually they ask that you tell them first).

My wife's loans have been paid off, we know this because she is back in school (her first time in a long time). When she called him back he was aggressive and insisting that they had just spoken and he was awaiting paperwork for her to sign and return. She said he had wrong information about addresses and birth dates (she did not correct him and simply hung up). I hope this helps someone... this was one of the scariest scams we have encountered thus far. The call was early in the morning (8am) and I had just woken up. I could have easily complied since I didn't have coffee yet!

Calls me almost everyday and never leaves a voicemail. So if they don't leave the voicemail it must not be important. I know that the number is a South Carolina number.
