Caller name: Chase Bank
I received a call from this number tonight. The woman asked me if this was my name. I replied yes. She asked me if I was willing to answer a survey with my experience at my local Chase bank.
It made me nervous. You hear about the news stories about how people are scammed, and that banks will never call you and ask for your personal information. So when she mentioned the city of my local bank, and asked if I had visited it within the week, I politely explained how I didn't feel comfortable with the call. She told me that she understood, and hung up.
I called Chase afterward, where the representative looked up the number on my caller id. He said that it didn't match any of their records, and that my complaint would be forwarded to their fraud department for further investigation.
Sounds shady, and hoping that call is the last that I hear from them!
I bought a Call Blocker.... works incredibly well. No calls after a few more tries from them, they gave up. Cost was only $50. No monthly charge, no useage charge. Just plug it in and hit the Blacklist button. If they call again all you hear is one ring. THEY only hear a brief clip of a ring then dead-air. Worth its weight in gold.
They have been calling every day, multiple times a day. Today I called the # back and got a recording stating I was called by them for a survey from Chase bank (where I bank) asking for feedback about a recent branch visit. There was no information about how to stop the calls or get my number removed from their list. I guess now I will complain to the bank!

I received a call from this number "claiming" to be from Chase bank. Last month we received a similar call claiming to be from WellsFargo, so I hung up. I just spoke to my banker at Chase, she marked my account "do not call" checked my account and no one from Chase called 3/27/2013, gave her the number and she said it is DEFINATELY not from Chase. Beware these people are scammers! If you are a Chase banker, I would call them and tell them to add your account to their do not call list too, then block the callers number. If you go to the "do not call registry" site, you can file a complaint, like I did and they will investigate this company
Caller name: multiple callers
These idiots called once a day between 1 and 5:30 PM PST. It's always the same script. I use Voice, and blocked their number, yet they still call and after 15-20 seconds of silence, then they they begin talking and say, "Hello my name is [various names] from Chase, I'd like to speak with (always a brief pause as they look up my name and pronounce it wrong), then 1-2 second pause, Anybody on the line?" Then they hang up. Since I use Google Voice, I never even hear the phone ring since I blocked their number. Thank you Google Voice!
Caller name: Supposedly Chase Finances
These people called 3 times today claiming to be from Chase or Chase Investments, my law enforcement contacts all agreed that this sounds like another scam from no good lowlifes. Proceed with caution otherwise ignore like my husband and I have been doing and will continue to do if they dare call again.
I missed the call, and they didn't leave a message, but I did receive a different automated call from "Chase" recently claiming that there was fraudulent activity on my account. When the call asked me to input my 16-digit card number, I hung up and called Chase. The Chase rep noted that the call was not theirs and they had received multiple complaints recently.
Caller name: Chase Bank
I have received calls from this number a few times. It is usually a few days after I use my Bank services at Chase Bank. I was never asked for any information...they simply told me that they wanted to know how i would rate the services received from my last resent visit to my Chase Bank branch. (...they already knew I had been to the Bank recently which they wouldn't have known if not a legitimate organization...)
Don't worry about any Identity Theft issues...after answering their question it was over and done with!

That is why I use voice mail. I get so many of these calls I no longer answer the phone. If they leave a message, name, and a call back number, then It is probably legit. Otherwise. My friends know to leave a message if they are calling from a number I am not familiar with. I always wonder why people call and not say anything. Are they really that ugly? Do they stink so bad that it comes over the phone? Then why do they call?
