Person said he was Steve Wilson id 786- called me about my personal email account on my work phone number - he said my account was being used for international crime by hackers and this was serious. He wanted me to look into my computer and tell him information. I am at work so he gave me his number to return his call when I get home. He knows my name and said he was from IT tech dept. Then when I asked his company he said he was from Windows Technical Dept . Heavy Indian accent which devolved into a lot of Indian language at one point which I could not understand. I am closing my email to ensure this doesn't happen again rather than call him back just to be safe.

Male with Indian accent tried to get my underage son to give him info off his computer. His number shows as 445-587. It's a phishing scam. I don't even know who is responsible for putting this site up.

Guy with heavy Indian accent and absolutely no personality tried to tell me that my computer had many viruses and he had to access it. I told him my IT guy would call him back.
I did not let him access my computer. He said that Microsoft knows when you get too many error messages and it was his job to remove them. it smells like a scam.

Robin called (heavy Indian accent). Said he was from Microsoft tech support. Said my computer was seriously infected and I was to press [Ctrl], [Windows] and [R] and they would clean the infections at no charge. Asked for his number so I could call back. Spoke to an man with a heavy Indian accent who claimed by computer was going to crash. He wanted to know if I was at my computer. I told him no and what was his name and phone number. He replied David at 800 969 7419, I told him I would have someone else call him back to check out his story. When I had the person call him from another number the phone just rang. So I called the phone number back and the Indian man answered, I asked his name and company I was calling and he said Andrew, Technical Support, I said thankyou and hung up. I was told this phone number was listed as a scam online. Please be careful this man spoke in a rush tone to try to make you think your computer would crash at any second....Be Aware.........

Said he was from Microsoft. Asked me to go to my computer. I refused. He called at dinner time and had called multiple times. I asked him who he was, and what did he want that called so often. He told me to call customer service at 800-969-7419. I Google his name and did not find anything related to Microsoft. Then I put in the number and bam, scam.

Caller name: James Russell, TechIT Solutions

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

Got a call from another India-based scammer. This time his name was James Russell from TechIT Solutions. It was hard to understand him due to his heavy Indian accent. First he said he was from Microsoft. The later he said he was from the Window Support Group and TechIT Solutions. He said my computer was infected and the he could "remove" the virus, for a fee of course.
This is total extortion!! BEWARE!

This man with heavy Indian accent called and said he was with Microsoft Office Solutions and my computer was infected and not working properly. He said he got my number from when I registered my Microsoft computer (never have done that and its a newer cell phone number in the last 2 years). I asked him for a number I could call him back at and decided to look online for a scam correlated with the information.
