I have received phone calls from them on 1-21-12, 1-25-12, 1-28-12 & 1-30-12 that I can remember. I have called & requested to get off the calling list but still get unwanted phone calls. I would like to be compenstated for invasion of privacy. Can you help?
I have never had AT&T yet recently I have been getting calls from this number with this message:
"This is an important message from AT&T to discuss your wireless service. Please return our call at 1(800) 947-5096. You may also access your account online at www.ATT.com/mywireless. Again, our number is 1(800) 947-5096 or 611 from your wireless phone. Thank you for using AT&T."
I have Google voice so I have set the number as spam and left a hilarious personal message if there is an actual person calling.
I terminated service with them after 20 years. I called to reduce my service to basic after experiencing serious deterioration of their customer support. They started randomly turning off services and giving me conflicting information about the services I had. I had no choice but to leave them and port my number to their competition. They always apologise for the hours of endless inconvenience but would NEVER resolve the problem. They have an excellent network and I will miss that. They want you to be on a two year contract and I refused. They are now demanding payment for data overages on a plan that does not provide data? My reward for 20 years with them is a hit on my credit report and endless calls from a snotty collection robot. Buyer beware!.. loyalty only go's one way with these crooks!
These people call my land line EVERY DAY in the early morning - I'm talking around 8 or 9 AM! For one, I do not have any cell phone accounts through these people, so why do they call all the time? I don't even answer the phone when the number comes up on my caller ID.
Recorded message: "AT&T calling to discuss your wireless..." What they really want to discuss is payment. I pay my bill at the same time each month and have since I first got my phone with them in 2002, and I am not behind on my payments. These annoying phone calls didn't start until I got a smart phone. I just put the number on my blacklist and ignore their calls. Hear that AT&T? Get any more annoying and I won't think twice about taking my $$$ to the competition.
Multiple calls the past several months to my non-AT&T phone.
I've called AT&T multiple times, they kept saying "we'll take care of it".
When they didn't, I asked for Supervisor(s). They told me to have my cell company block the call... I told them AT&T is the one calling, and the one harassing me, and the one I want to stop calling. One super even told me, "Anyone can call you". I kid you not! I told him yes, anyone can call me, but nobody can harass me by phone, which is what AT&T is doing since the calls are:
2- AT&T advised of the calls and they are unwanted
3- The calls continue
I'm going to contact AT&T legal department and go from there. Either a lawsuit or cease & desist court order.
