Left a message for my son's name on my phone. I could not make out the bank name and said it was urgent that he called back before 3pm. Again the message was very hard to understand, also came up on my phone as reported as scam.

Asks to repeat phone #, give address, & last 4 of social security #. I don't know who you are, I'm not giving it out. They tell me they need info to verify who I am before they tell me who they are. I told them to mail me s omthing & not to call that # again. Keep calling, same c**p. Keep blocking them...

This number called to ask for my mother. They stated they needed her to call them back but the caller ID states it was from 614-729-3000, which shows Ohio. The person calling sounded very garbled and I couldn't make out the name of the person and just barely figured out that they were supposedly calling from Comenity Bank. My mother has nothing to do with this bank. What a scam.

The call came in from 614-729-3000 but gave 800-804-2011 ext.1016164 as the call back # for Comenity Bank. When I called back from a different phone they said they had no record of my cell # or the person they were asking for who is actually an acquaintance of mine. Then they asked if I knew another person (garbled) so I asked them to spell it and it was the name of a co-worker. I asked what state or country they were calling from but they would not say. They just kept saying the same thing over and over again and that they could not give me any other information. Why don't these scammers get a real job and stop harassing hard working people?
