I traced the number18004549078 using this site. According to this site it is a fraud number, however I kept the guy's name . Then I called Chase Freedom Customer Service from the number provided off my card & asked if the name of the associate that called me did in fact work for Chase. It turns out he does & we were able to solve the mystery of this unknown caller. They use unknown features when calling people due to the fact that so many people try calling the numbers back for personal information, instead of going through all the required questions & answers that are needed to verify a account. Please people do some research before just adding a number here & saying it's fraudulent. Thanks Z.Sparrow 1/25/15

I got a text message from Chase saying there was a suspicious charge made with my card. I knew this was from Chase as I had received verification code a couple of days ago from the same number. Then, I got a call from 18004549078. I thought it might not be real, but still went ahead and answer the call being extra careful so as not to provide my information. All I was asked for was to verify my name, and they talked to me about the charge for $63 on gas made today which was a fraud charge. They also asked me to verify a couple of other charges which were real. Then, they told me my account would be closed and I would be sent a new card with new account number in mail, so I had to provide my mailing address.
After that I also called back the number on my card, and verified that the card was indeed closed.

I received a text message claiming to be Chase Fraud Prevention. It said the an expensive charge for over $500 had been made and that I needed to reply with 1 to verify or 2 to decline. I do not even have any credit or debit cards! I replied 2, knowing that there were not any cards in my name. They quickly replied back saying that they would call me as soon as possible. They did, of course, but I did not answer. I recieved a computerized voicemail to call them back immediately. This I obviously a SCAM since I do not own any type of card.
