I got an unknown call today from a guy claiming to be called Steve but had an indian accent. He thought I was an idiot so he tried to gain control of my computer by telling me to go to fastsupport dot com and to enter the Support Key that Steve provided. I aksed him to verify that he is in fact calling from Apple like he claimed and he gave me 18002994065 number, I called it and asked the guy who answered (also Indian accent) and I asked him to tell me the name of his company, he said 365pcsupport dot com. He also told me they are located in Texas. I am a computer programmer and I knew they were scammers. I just wanted to get as much info to share here. So if you get a call from tehse scum bags, tell them to f off.

Claimed to be Windows Technical Department from Texas. Heavy Indian accent but stated that his name is "John Williams" and that his company works with Microsoft. Told the caller that I would report his call, he responded, "Do whatever you want to do."

Caller claimed to be from techsupport365 a company claiming to be from Texas USA and that my computer has had many (500+) hackers access my computer and take information from it. He said his name was Advert and had an Indian accent. I asked how can people access a computer that I supposedly had when I don't even own one. I refused to give any information and reported this phone call on other sites to spread the word of people trying to get info from others.

Called supposedly from Windows technical support and wanted to "protect my computer from malicious hackers." Said he had my phone number in association with the information on my computer. I asked for a number to call back because my cell reception was poor and this is the number he gave. On my phone the incoming number appeared as "unknown." He said the company he worked for was called "Tech Support."

Same as everyone else. Call from a guy with an Indian accent who tried to bully me into typing stuff into my computer. Asked for his name that I couldn't catch and gave me this number 1 800 299 4065 with extension 1016. Private cell phone not connected to any computer in the house or my internet service provided.

He is persistent as he called back when I told him take a hike and hung up. Do not do anything they ask.

Caller type: Scammer/Fraudster

This phone call actually showed up on my phone with a local area code number: 415-256-9810. The caller said his name was George Michael and that we calling with TechSupport365. He said the company is based in Texas and he was calling because he had my computer license ID and wanted to help me remove corrupt files from my computer that he claimed hackers had installed. He told me I could call him back at 1-800-299-4065 and ask for George Michael. He claimed that TechSupport365 is a support provider for Microsoft. This was certainly a fraud.

This same guy called me with such a thick indian accent I could hardly understand what he was saying. Said his name was George and that he was calling from a company called Tech Support that was contracted by Microsoft. I think he wanted me to delete something from my system. He couldn't provide me with any kind of information to validate who he was or where he was calling from. I don't really know what he was hoping I would do to my computer. I couldn't understand him.

Alex George claimed to be from windows technical support calling to save my "windows" machine from attacks going on right now! From Austin, Texas, heavy Indian accent. On detailed questioning, transferred me to his senior David Christy. He disconnected the call when I asked if he knew my name.

These people had my computer ID, said they were Microsoft Technicians. I was extremely skeptical but did everything against my own intentions. I could see that there were all sorts of problems with my computer but did I allow them anything other than to clean it up and get paid for doing it? What do I do now to ensure that I am protected?

Called apparently from Windows technical support and wanted to "protect my computer from malicious hackers." Said he had my phone number in association with the information on my computer. I asked for a call back number and this is the number he gave. His initial call was unknown on the caller ID. He gave me a return call number of 800.299.4065 I then advised him that my husband is a computer technician and he said ok then please hit CTRL R and type..... then I hung up, He has since called 3 different times with (202) 154-256 (no 4th digit) and then (801) 410-7837.
