Sleazy sales call left message on cell phone. (The first part of the message was clipped off (at mid word) by my out-going message) :
"...eticle, you must be a home owner to take advantage in [sic] this special offer. If you are interested in having this system installed at no cost to you then please press '1' now, once again, press '1' now, otherwise prease press '2' to be removed from our calling list."
I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, and this came to my Cell Phone! I picked up because I was expecting another call, and this was some recorded voice message that cut-off the beginning of the message so I couldn't tell who was calling, and then twice repeated two menu options. When I didn't choose either, it eventually hung up.
Caller name: Chris
This number keeps calling, Ive choosen option 9 before to be removed from the list, my guess is by thinking I was removing myself, I was in all reality "Confirming" this was a live number, So they next time they called, I hit 1, Operator by the name of chris answered, "Thank you for calling Us, This is Chris" , Chris I didn't call you, you called me and before I could say anything else the a*****e hung up on Me, Called the number back to get a recording press 9 to be removed from the list can take 24 - 48 hours.
Caller name: unknown Telemarketer SCAMMER
(781) 884-0698 Robo call recorded 10 March 2014 (FBI crime stats, "Free" Alarm system & small sign) SCAM
Caller ID: "Unavailable"
Called recently from: (617) 202-9058 | (413) 306-5538 | (312) 273-1439 | (415) 375-0922 | (586) 231-3711 | (913) 279-0536 | (480) 999-5637 | (518) 292-6634
These people call whether you're on the Do Not Call list or not. Doesn't that suggest something about their business ethics? Don't bother to press 9 to be removed from their predictive dialer, they won't. Much better not to answer calls whose Caller ID you don't recognize.
"<female voice>Hello. The FBI reports there was a home break in every 15 seconds. Your local police recommend you protect your home.
