Just got a call from this number , claimed to be on behalf of RBC
and the guy's name is William Cook( i asked for his name but i am sure this is a fake name ) . After long introduction of his company and protecting credit stuff , he was trying to sell me some insurance to protect my personal ID and credit . It is totally a scam . but it was interesting to listen how these ppl try to scam people by keep saying they are from the bank . i think he mentioned that 5 times to try to scam me . Sounded very profession and calm on the phone , please dont give out any information to any unknown on the phone.

First time, a man's voice asked my name. When I said yes, he hung up. Now it rings and there's no one there when I answer it.

Calls 5 days in a row, twice a day. Asks if the person on the other line is there on voicemail by name claiming to be from RBC.

called a few times.
When I called back they claimed to be from RBC selling some identity fraud insurance. Very persistent. Interesting, when I called back, the call was immediately answered by the guy. When you call an actual bank, you have to go through options. That was a red flag.
Please do not share your personal / bank info. It's a confirmed scammer.
