The number is fake. Someone from some other country will call you at all hours of day and night stating that they're calling on behalf of Microsoft and that your computer is seriously vulnerable to malware attacks unless you basically buy their product to protect your computer and all your files. Don't fall for it, don't give them your personal information or, even worst, your credit card number! I made the mistake to threaten them to report them and have them arrested for fraud, and of course now they call every single morning at 6am! And, of course, the "authority" is going to do absolutely nothing about this...
